Just do something easy the first cycle, but still hit a PR triple at the end. The next cycle just bump all your weights up a bit. Not complicated

For me 1x worked amazingly because all I really need to do to improve my deadlift is to practice the form while improving my squat. Doing easy deads once a week and focusing on squats was perfect for me

how do i know if i flex my hamstrings enough while deadlifting? i know the femurs thing and there is no same answer but is there like a general rule like squatting below parallel?

in the pic 1 is clearly wrong, 2 is still not good, 3 is kind of what im doing but obviously you will get tighter hamstrings at 4

Conventional is kind of a quad push till the bar is around the knees and then hip extension from there. Try warming up with light stiff-legged deads to get a feel for what your hamstrings, glutes, and back are supposed to be doing during the lift.
