Just renewed my membership

How much do you guys pay monthly/yearly for your gym membership?

$260 / per year is my rate.

$0

Homegym Master race.

and how much did it cost you to build it and what do you have?

checking in.

music always on par.

£70 (100$) for my university gym for a year, although I get a £50 discount for playing a sport for the university. Non-university people have to pay £300.

7$ YMCA bastard race here.

British here, probably about £500-600 quid all in. Had it a couple of years now and it's probably paid for itself.

Got a squat rack, oly bar, 180kg in plates, bench, dip station, dip belt, belt, dumbbells, pullup bar.

On the last month I went to a gym near me, it was 210 ARS (13.98 in US dollars)

19.99- € per month. Germany. It's one of those cheap crappy gyms but it's open at any time, any day. So that's something.

10 euro a month

i cant go in after 17:00 though i am allowed to stay for as long as i want if i get in before 17:00

£12.99 for a gym that has just one power rack.

Mines is kinda pricey, I utilize it's daycare too.

I think it's 70$ a month for two adults, and another 175 for Childcare.

my nigga!

mine cost bench - 125 bucks
>plates + bar, dumbbells - 75 bucks second hand from some guy
>heavy bag stand - 150 bucks
>heavy bag - free from the same guy

planning to buy a dip + pullup station.

Gym provides us with our own gym
>The good
Barely anyone uses it, it's free, shower rooms are great, right beside the cafeteria
>The bad
Sometimes people are so entitled they feel the need to reserve/close the gym for 1-2 hours to do their "class" workouts where they do fuck all (someone post that routine info image, with the suggestive hip thrusts, fatty trying to wear socks, etc), that shit is what they do.
>The ugly
Never ending supply of fatties and dyels, they last for a week, maybe a month at most then they come back after a couple of months - it's just that there's no end to them because they've formed a cycle.

>couple years
>can't DL over 200 kg

>paying to use whats literally all around you in the world

used to pay $300 a year at my old gym
>tfw uni gym cost $100 for a whole year

Yes let me lift cement blocks and squat using stop signs as the bar. Fucking hell user go more in depth.

Just a one-time payment of about $5k.

$600/yr membership. I want to home gym, but have no space. Place has a pool and some free classes.

so many bars and so little space.

does anyone use those football bars?

bar is the expensive part. listen to the fitizens who say don't cheap out on the bar. i dropped 225 on mine and i think that's considered low end.

u need any kind of gloves or pads and stuff to do a boxing/kickboxing workout? sounds like a fun thing to add in the future but nothing i can afford right now.

They're pretty useful for reverse-grip and close-grip.

Eleiko equipment makes me cum

If you had the money to buy all that shit plus Eleiko plates, why didn't you bought real construction material for your house instead of shitty plywood, lmao.

67€ a year but the price was like 49€ two years ago

I pay $157 a month in San Francisco.

When your rich it is worth it.
> across the street from work
> go monday thru friday
> no niggers
> no kids
> all the women are gorgorgeous
> all the men are gorgeous (no homo)

Feels good man.

same desu

>Making your gymroom out of compressed wood panels
>"""""""""""""""masterrace"""""""""""""""
Jesus Christ user how American can you be?

free, university gym

American enough to own a house and top of the line equipment. It's' not my fault that you live in the wrong country and can't afford my stuff.

>American enough to own a house
I could go to a random DIY shop right now and pick up enough multiplex to build a "house" as well. What's your point?

Top kek. Living the American dream.

Stuck with LAF but I have across my work, next to where I live and another by my parents so least I got that going for me.

>pays college tuition
>believes university gym is free.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well my point is that I'm better than you, obviously.

paying £9 a month

32€/month

What sport?

OP asked how much my gym membership cost me. my gym membership is free, conditional that I'm a full time student at my university

35€ month. Has to be from 9am-3pm tho. Otherwise its close to 50

hello chimpo

hello chimpo

Hello chimpo

The double of zero is zero retards

Lacrosse

where's that? Just pandered a gym membership again, but then I came across a bench, a bar and some weights for 40€ and shifted now to home gym masterrace.

>being proud that you spend money like a dumbfuck

>military

free

£16

50€ a year for my uni gym
downside is it's packed with fucking arabs

12 euros per week.
576 euros p-p-p-per year and 13 euros to renew it. W-w-which happens every 3 months.

I was renewing my insurance couple weeks ago and found out they reimburse you 50$ a month for a gym membership. So now i pay 0$.

>sign up for 1 year membership at new gym
>forget my credit card, they'll send me a bill after a month
>been going to the gym for 6 months now

Pretty sure the cashier was new and forgot to charge me, kek.

£15 a month for gym pass.

But then I spend an additional £10-15 a month tipping my spotters and I lose about £5 a week when my gym bully takes my lunch money.

Free. I work at one.

I live in a small town in greece, ever since i moved here i've been to 3 gyms

>first gym was 300euros per year, shitty fitness center with no serious lifters

got kicked out of there

>second gym 120euros per year, was fine until the owner decided to make the freeweight room a "program" room for yoga etc and moved all the freeweights to a room 1/4th the original rooms space

>got kicked cause now that the weights were moved from the basement to the 1st floor, they're "too loud"

at least got my money back

>third (current gym) is 100euros/3 months with student discount, expensive by greek poorfag standards but the best in the city
>6 barbells, 2 flat benches, 2 incline, 1 decline. heavy dumbbells and a big lifting area. also 2 squat racks and quality machines

i'm still the only one lifting heavy, but the upside is that due to it's price it's empty all day apart from peak hours. first time i've felt satisfied in a gym desu

>plywood walls

fuck that

mine is not too bad considered there's free breakfast, all classes are free (although i utilies none of that) and there's individual showers and shit.
pretty small and cozy, only a couple of dudes using the lifting area besides me
>$37/month

18 euros a month. Very commercial gym but has everything I need

Its a franchise so I can go anywhere I go within my country which is cool

Recently I hit the gold mine, mine employer is offering to foot part of the bill for soe kind of universal sport card

> I pay 24$/month
> 902 sport centers accross the country are available
> Only pools allows me in only on weekday
> 73 sport centers in my city only
> 36 of them are gyms

Now Im not saying all of them are perfect, there are some gyms focused on women (yoga/pillates/no free weights...), but about half are pretty decent and 5-6 are actually pretty great. Life is good. And btw closest gym to my place is 5min walk, perfect.

$55 CAD/$41 USD/month YMCA here

seems like a lot but

>3 locations including 2 near workplace
>swimming pool
>1 free, 1/2 hr PT session per month (never used once)
>basketball court
>drop-in sports programs throughout week

Most of the cheaper gyms in my area can't offer anywhere near that

1560 € / year

no niggers, only the crème de la crème
physicians and (graduated) PTs and masseurs
full health check at least once a year (compulsory)
never wait for the squat rack
clean
swimming pools (indoors and outdoors in summer)
golf course
tennis courts
squash
private parking
safes
free drinks and ad hoc protein-oriented mini-restaurant
sauna
turkish bath
ice bath

can be suspended for 15 days 6 times a year (so, for three non-consecutive months)

there's always a clean towel if you forget one

100% green energy
built by a notorious local architect
nice for some professional rendez-vous too

it's pretty inexpensive if you consider all the benefits

Sounds nice
>tfw not rich

open 7/24
20€ a month
about 20 minutes bicycle ride from home.

there is one very near to me, same price but many contras.
open all year but only from 6 to 24 with exceptions on holidays.
showering costs 0.50€ for 5 minutes
Starting fee of about 45€

>free breakfast

like what? can you eat post-workout?

That cost is only justified if you actually use any of that bullshit. I just want to go in and lift, I don't any fucking classes or pools or personal trainers. Why can't a no frills gym exist?

still too much i think. maybe 1000 euros ok, but most of the things you said are useless. for example physician is useless for people in non-3rd world countries where health insurance is free, compared to my gym for example which is 500 euros per year the only real benefit is the swimming pool. 1000 euros a year for the occasional switch in cardio is way too much imo

$395 for 6 months...

Straya

yeah, if train in the morning i can just eat it when im done.
its usually just some shitty high carb bread, and i think theres jam, butter and other stuff you can put on.
havent tried it.

theres also free coffee the whole day, so that is nice

mine costs 40$ monthly, live in a third world country

When you go to a no frills the amenities are pretty nice when you go back

>went to a no frills gym
>No a/c but big fans, small ass restroom that was unisex
>2 squat racks, 2 dead platforms, benches, tons of floor space

It's nice but a commercial gym is better.

>25$/month
>golds
>4 lane olympic pool/ heated
>individual showers
>sauna
>tons of floor space

If you go during off peak hours it's basically do whatever you want

trips have spoken.

would love to open my own gym.

squat racks upon squat racks.
benches. cages. barbells.
only 90's motivating rap and hiphop on the speaker.

>Gym provides us with our own gym
what

My membership is around 2500$/year, expensive but totally worth it.

$0

My company has free gyms

hello chimpo

Nothing. Health insurance ftw

0 dollars. I don't squat or bench just deadlift and power clean in apartment. I make sure to slam as hard as possible on 2nd floor. My goal is to deadlift enough to make the floor collapse.

$230 a year for Crunch, with my weekend warrior discount. And my fat friend comes with me and splits the cost because I have unlimited guest passes, so really closer to about $115.

work at lifetime fitness so i get free membership otherwise its $70

$60 per month. plebs need not apply

Meant office kek.

Are you the brother of the guy who wants to flip over a car?

Around 1k dollars for a year

>multiplex

what the fuck is this shit? confirmed for jealous foreigner.

18€ per month = 216€ per year
contract goes for 3 month than needs to be renewed

opening hours are from 7am - 11pm.
Excpect for weekends were it is 10am - 5pm

My University gym was the best gym i've ever visited, cost around £200/year and now every other gym does not do it for me. pic related

Damn bro, what Perks come with a gym membership that's 1k a year?

>Pay $8 a week
>Considered ridiculously low for a gym membership
>People's jaws drop when I tell them
>Tfw Ausfag

Nothing is cheap here, goddammit.

13.99 euro, sometimes more if I have to use the bumper plates a lot

>paying for jim membership

Studying in northern Italy

56€ / mo

No olympic bars

Fuck me up senpai

Workout + watching TV simultaneously = best choice

How the FUCK do you find gyms so cheap?
Im a swefag and the cheapest one I've found is 35€/mo, used to pay 55€ but fuck that shit.

660 euro's a year

No need to endanger your back over vanity lifting, especially when you're alone

Are you suggesting that I drywall, mud, sand, and paint my garage walls? What kind of millennial faggotry brainstorming lead to that?

i suggest you build your house with real materials you american faggot. my sister's dollhouses are sturdier than your shitty "house"

$4 / month
Gym @ work
