What's he even trying to do here? How is a ROM that small doing anything?

static hold. Gets you used to higher weights on your back and works your core or something

SS is not an optimal powerfatting program but it's decent. Maybe throw out OHP in favor of bench and add rows and chins off the bat for """shoulder health"""

Wrecks the shit out of basically all the supporting musculature. The same principle can be applied to pretty much any lift (front squat holds in particular are well known for inducing some of the most disgusting ab doms known to man).

My gym has the same retarded racks. Once, I was benching, and hit the hook with the barbell as I was locking out. The hook fucking fell to the floor.

And unracking from these hooks is such a fucking chore too, I have to go on my toes.

I don't recall giving you express written consent to save my webm's

John Haack is the 83kg ipf world champ. His best squat in competition is 300kg. I weigh 83kg so I just wanted to know how heavy that felt. I had the unrack height set to my normal height but didn't account for the weight to bend the bar so much making it lower at the sides.
Like said they can be useful back rack/pin squats are usaully done with just above parallel height

Post more webms.
