6 weeks ago I had to pick a training max for my bench.I come from gnuckols so I only had an estimated max of 100kg.
Program said to go with a 2rm weight as max so I chose 95kg.
Last weeks of training I only got 1 and a half reps on a 95kg double and failed a 100kg single.
Now I'm restarting the program,do I go with: a lower max,same max or inflated because I have already done that much volume?

If it was fine though tough, maybe use 97.5 as a new max.
If it was really hard and you hurt all the time, a lower one.

It's an "offseason program",so I had a RM as the first set of training and then back off sets.
I felt pretty fatigued on the rep max sets but in the end the backoff sets were always pretty easy.
Also,I only trained comp bench 1 time a week and had cgbp and ohp as main movements the other 2 days.
This time I'm going with 2x comp bench and cgbp because I failed a max grip bench of 100kg but nailed a 85kg cgbp so I want to train my chest more.
