Eat carbs before your workout. Gives you more strength. Maybe like 2 hours before you hit the weights, have some rice or pasta. I always hit PRs when I carb load before my workout.
Pre workout and some water.

I work out in the evening after work. I eat some simple carbs and some protein.
Just had an orange, a banana and 100g cold cuts. That's about 300kcal at 20g protein.

I use to eat some meat with rice and a banana
Some kind of meat ~100g with half a cup of jasmine rice. Then a cup of yogurt with half a cup of oats or nuts and a tablespoon of honey. Sometimes a banana too.

This. I usually just have lunch and then don't eat anything before working out around 6 or 7 and then have a huge dinner.

I train fasted, usually more than twelve hours.
Energy is huge, and recovery is bigger.
a huge dinner is wrong, the dinner must be the lightest part of a day, isnt it?
if you intend a dinner with a lot of proteins after 3 or 4 hours of workout ok, but if you intend a huge dinner no, im adverse
i get the best results from

Don't ever hit the gym within an hour of eating a lot of food.
