Just fucked my shoulder a few weeks ago benching. It has slipped out before but never while i was lifting let alone benching. Been doing light upperbody and mainly lowerbody until i can get to the doc this week. No shoulder work of course.

I have never seen anyone put up more than 85lbs their first time benching, ever.

I started at 95 lbs and worked up to 185 lbs over the past few months.

Bench is literally just have strong shoulders back and triceps.

That's what I tell myself at least. The 1/2/3/4 standard is ridiculous, 2plate bench is respectable but most average athletic guys can do it, especially talking about maxes. Meanwhile only the biggest guys in the gym squat close to 3plate. Most people bench more than they squat and their legs look fine. 1.5-2plate (for ass to grass reps) is the normal squat for guys at my gym (college-age athletic guys).
I do more leg work than a lot of guys but I'd break in half if I tried to squat 3.

You can change it to round to the nearest kg. The default is set to the nearest 5kg for some reason

I've had back problems recently, so my squats and deadlifts are lacking compared to most of my lifts, currently struggling with a 127kg squat and 150kg deadlift, other lifts are ok though.

No im really not. Like i said ive done calisthenics for almost a year and i did gym for like 3 months in 2015. I do intend to greatly improve my lower body lifts. But my legs did kinda get denied. I did sprints tho. My body isnt imbalanced either when looking at aesthetics

How fucking weak are you guys? The only time I ever benched I was 17 or 18, and managed to bench 120 lbs x 5 with first try, and I was 121 or so lbs lean aushwitz-mode myself.

Those are some high estimated one rep maxes for someone who's untrained. You're probably just fat and it's throwing the calculation off. Don't sweat it too much.

Yesterday I had my first time not completing a 5x5 for bench. It was at 155lbs and I could only do 3x4 before I just stopped from shame. All my other lifts are going up fine but I just died inside knowing I couldn't clear the bench.

Any tips other than eating more? I'm trying to do more research on my form to help.

My upperbody is far stronger than my legs but i still sort of look like a Trex

Also for bench i find that staying tight helps a lot.
