Calf raises 2 x failure.

I try to set the weight so that failure is around 12 reps.

But uh I'm obviously new so please don't take any of my advice this is just suggestions OK?

The goal for me is bodybuilding and I've heard that 10-12 reps is ideal for increasing the size of the muscle. So that's what I do for calves.

I think you have to go with heavy weight (like 1.5 your bodyweight) and low reps for the gastroecnimius and low weight high reps (25-30 reps) for the soleus

you must have good genetics for calves or are an ex-fatty because calves are notriously one of the hardest muscles to train. I do way more calf work and mine are still small as fuck.
