because your mother smoked crystal meth while you were in utero and your father beat you mercilessly during your formative years
>Edgy
Best lifting music is old Rise Against
lift to the same. also their southern 101 proof live album
Honestly, headphones always get in my way. I go to the gym unencumbered, and just put up with the music the gym plays. They try to keep it energetic at least. It's liberating tbqh
listening to white supremacist drivel like pantera is quite edgy, i agree
i wear head phones that wrap around the back of my head. doesnt get in the way of squats for me, but if your session last longer than 2 hours mine get uncomfortable
you'll cowards don't even smoke hash
(a) Senile animal>houdini
...
I ONLY LISTEN TO BANJO MUSIC WHEN I LIFT OH YEAH!
op here, found the cucks, jokes on you because I'm actually a Ukrainian that moved to US when I was 15
I don't really listen to whole albums, I listen to Slayer pandora, but when Pantera comes out the best lifts are to be had
Lysol > every other Melvins album.
...
2far m8
can't argue that
youtube.com
Listen to this during deadlifts and lift the planet.
move bitch
>jokes on you because I'm actually a Ukrainian that moved to US when I was 15
what does that have to do with anything
Good choice mang
Time to send you back Piotr
My mother was not exposed to crack and I have nothing to do with being white trash, retard
>My mother was not exposed to crack
>listens to memetera
sure thing man, sure thing
you can always keep crying to bruno mars, faggot
>Phil Anselmo will never call you a spic and grumble about his routine
I missed you in Vegas pls come back.
Never get people and their edgelord music
Enjoy the fuckin workout, nigga
Beattapes and lo-fi hiphop are fuckin god tier
That sounds gay
ha, I'm into this, never knew it had a name, instrumentals are god-tier for lifting, hearing people sing just puts me off.
Pic related, am I the only who listens to techno during cardio?
This is a song I like to listen to when I get ready to heave much heft
youtube.com
and this is one of my favorite songs to listen to when I do cardio.
Op here, key word is lifting. On my run days I listen to mostly rap and like beck Pandora
youtube.com
am I edgy at all or its just spasms?
How old were you when you grew out of metal? I was 14.
2cheesy4me but as long as you keep that shit in headphones you should be good
I said Tupac for lifting, but was curious if any of you guys listen to techno while doing cardio.
Kek people here think they know lifting music without knowing Walk
WALK ON HOME BOY
>grew out of metal
And into a pair of skinny jeans?
>I knew it
How's U2 working out for you, Chet?
Metal is ok but I lift so much better to EDM.
you all listen to trash acquire some taste
weeb detected
trash the genre all you want
nips are gifted musically
I was 18 when I grew large enough to listen to metal
My cock is 8" also
>Japanese
>music
What the fuck, nip music is just passionless because their culture breeds genuine emotion out of them from a young age.
exactly so they use music as an emotional outlet
so obvious
Oddly enough I just listen to singer songwriter music. "Pump up music" to get energized just isn't my thing, it's too distracting
im guessing you dont do uppers either then
Jesus man, I watch anime and I can't imagine being weeb brainwashed enough to unironically like Japanese music.
Literally any Iron Maiden, Slayer, Megadeth, ect. I find that metal makes me feel triumphant for bettering myself by getting to the gym.
Rust in Peace is god-tier
yeh ok we get it you have no personality
Holy Wars is my cardio start-up tune breh.
fuckin spot on mate. Holy Wars gets me fuckin knees-up
>be me
>get into the gym, get changed and hop on the mill
>start up the tunes on my phone
>ShufflePlay.png
>Holy Wars begins to play
>The energy begins to course into me
>Feel as if I had dranken an entire gallon of sips
>I move at practically the speed of light
>10.0 speed on the treadmill
>Eyes bulging out of their sockets
>Grimace of power on my face
>MRW new PB mile time
Just getting into Pantera and Slayer. What songs am I missing?
PANTERA
>Fucking Hostile, Mouth For War, Becoming, Domination, Slaughtered, Strength Beyond Strenght, Walk, Cowboys From Hell
SLAYER
>Disciple, Here Comes the Pain, Piano Wire, Epidemic, Bloodline, Angel of Death, Raining Blood.
Disagree.
Pantera live in Seoul 2001.
Super whacked out suicidal heroin addict Phil >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Slayer - War Ensemble
for pantera following albums: vulgar display of power, cowboys from hell, the great southern trendkill
for slayer here's couple good song suggestions: jihad, skeletons of society, SOUTH OF HEAVEN
If you enjoy edm for the gym this is the best mix I've discovered
Phil Anselmo has always been a cunt though, even before the whole White Power thing. He's literally the reason Pantera broke up. I still listen to their work, I just hate the faggot.
listen to pig destoryer and screem as loud as you can doing every set to failure
>I liisten to heavy metal to get "amped up" for my lifts
I know that they're "Babby's First Death Metal" but they've honestly earned that position in the mainstream. Their music gets me pumped for lifting like nothing else.

>Local man thinks he's clever making fun of one of the most satirized forms of music ever
Thanks.
Dude for Slayer you really need to listen to the albums Reign in Blood and South of Heaven. That was their golden age IMO. The stuff on God Hates Us All was alright and there's a few gems but if you want to listen to what inspired the sound of subsequent Thrash and Death Metal from 1986 onward you need to listen to those two.
Cool I'll check out those albums.
this for sure
I fucking love the first half of Fallujah's latest album for lifting (Dreamless).
Its kind of shit for just leaving on and listening to without fiddling with it, there are far to many slow moments in different songs and some of the songs later will put you to fucking sleep.
What it does have, however, are moments within the earlier songs that are PRIME territory for starting a set. The most I do per set in 5 reps, so 20 seconds of sound assaulting me is more then enough.
These moments are as follows:
The void alone @ 3:23 ~
Abandon @ 2:10 ~
Scar queen @ 0.50 ~, 2:50 ~ and 3:10~
I also like "Rob Bailey & the hustle standard". Not metal, more like hip-hop(?) Only listened to there EP of remixes 'battle tested' and it worked for me.
>american metal
into the trash it goes
youtube.com
Get on my level.

Moved to mostly metal cuz it's loud.
>if I don't get off, I don't know how to be caught

You should really listen to would albums like says. Some other songs you'll definitely like are Catatonic, Threshold, In the name of God, Guilty of being white.
Once more round the sun and Crack the Skye are good Mastodon albums. Rammstein is pretty solid (especially if you know a bit of German) currently listening to pic related which one of you boys recommended
Obviously there's the obligatory: m.youtube.com
