I have a lot of respect for people who succeed accademically because I sure as shit cant. I have a learning disability and moving heavy shit around for $27/hour beats being an accountant with massive debt for $14/hour for me.
I was very depressed through out all of highschool because I convinced me that if I didnt go to uni I would be making min wage my entire life.

I make more money than them now and i'm 20. The salt is real.

I'm not trying to put you down or anything, but I know a few people your age who think they've got the system beat by having no debt and making more than their friends who just got out of college.

The problem is, when they're 40, while their friends are becoming executives and making 6 figures they're still making what they were when they were 20 and can't even do that for much longer because of their fucked up back and knees. So they either have to go to college then, or start working minimum wage at a gas station, Wal Mart, fast food, etc. with high school and college students on summer break.

As an investment in yourself, get a degree. You don't even have to be a full time student, go to night school, take online/correspondence courses etc. Just get that degree. Your future self and family will thank you.

Clinical depression or you've just been feeling down for an abnormally long time?
It helps to have goals and a routine when life gets like that. Idk if any crazy shit has happened in your life but if you have the time you should set up a structured schedule and stick to it. Gives you something to focus on and a reason to get up in the morning. I found that the hardest part was just willing myself to get up and out of the house, otherwise I'd stay inside and sleep most the day and then shitpost.
