I blend a smoothie that's about 6500kj every day. It's like drinking sand but couldn't make progress until I started doing it. Made nearly no gains over eight months, started making smoothies and then shot up 25kg in a year. Milk/yoghurt/peanut butter/cashews/oats/banana/protein powder. I guess it's like doing gomad in a way.
