When you tell other people (Let's not kid ourselves, you asspies will show off at any opportunity you get) your lifting stats, do you also include the weight of the bar?

For example, 20kg weights on each side of the bar, plus a 20kg bar. Do you tell people you bench 40kg or 60kg?

do you lift the bar or just the weights ?

nobody includes the weight of the bar unless you're a total sperge

bonus protip: plates marked 45lbs actually weigh less than 45lbs because there is a hole cut in the middle.

I just tell them how many bars I lift
eg. I lift 3 bars = I lift 60kg
6 bars = 120kg etc.

If you have a 20 kg bar with 20 kg on both sides it is 20 kg, because everybody knows you lift the bar and that you have weights on both sides. You havr to be so fucking insecure to do anything else

I don't actually include my lifts with a barbell, that's training shit.

If somebody at work asks what i lift, I answer 'that anvil, over my head'.
If somebody outside work asks what I lift, I answer 'your mom'.

If somebody in the gym asks what I lift, I answer 'more than you'.

I never count the weights because they are attached to the bar, therefore, are lifted by the bar.

of course you should. you should also take in consideration your elevation since the further away from core you are, lesser the gravity.

I include the bar because not all bars I use weigh the same.
Also, when you do bodyweight squats, how much do you squat? Minus 20kg or something?

This is why when I bench I don't use a bar. Allows me to lift more.
