When you tell other people (Let's not kid ourselves, you asspies will show off at any opportunity you get) your lifting stats, do you also include the weight of the bar?
For example, 20kg weights on each side of the bar, plus a 20kg bar. Do you tell people you bench 40kg or 60kg?
Oliver Parker
do you lift the bar or just the weights ?
Angel Walker
nobody includes the weight of the bar unless you're a total sperge
bonus protip: plates marked 45lbs actually weigh less than 45lbs because there is a hole cut in the middle.
Jaxson Wright
I just tell them how many bars I lift eg. I lift 3 bars = I lift 60kg 6 bars = 120kg etc.
Brody Jenkins
you never count the bar
are you stupid or something?
Evan Cook
if I do a log press do I count the log or just the weights I add to it ?
Ryan Martinez
You count the size of the log that came out of your anus when you pressed the weights.
Luke Flores
If you have a 20 kg bar with 20 kg on both sides it is 20 kg, because everybody knows you lift the bar and that you have weights on both sides. You havr to be so fucking insecure to do anything else
Jackson Morris
I don't actually include my lifts with a barbell, that's training shit.
If somebody at work asks what i lift, I answer 'that anvil, over my head'. If somebody outside work asks what I lift, I answer 'your mom'.
If somebody in the gym asks what I lift, I answer 'more than you'.

Joseph Cox
so if I have 1pl8 on a 20kg bar I basically only lift 20kg because I have to subtract the weight of the bar from the loaded weights ?
Parker Murphy
Jesus, are you retarded or trolling? The bar still has a weight and still add to the weight that pushes back at you.
Mason King
>he didn't take high school physics
Brody Ward
I never count the weights because they are attached to the bar, therefore, are lifted by the bar.
Ethan Nelson
Dud, this thread again? Nobody believes this shit! Nobody counts the bar!
Parker Jackson
LMAO i love this argument "do you lift the bar? yes then count it"
i also lift my arms when bench pressing..should i count those too?
instead of ego lifting and wanting to invent more numbers to add to your total just do the work
Grayson Rodriguez
of course you should. you should also take in consideration your elevation since the further away from core you are, lesser the gravity.
Logan Watson
This, the bar becomes weightless after you put plates on both sides.
Basic physics
Jace King
>not accounting for the negative weight of the holes in the plates >being this much of an amateur
Grayson Williams
You include the bar and the weight of your hands.
Landon Cruz
why does powerlifting and olympic lifting and strongman include the weight of the bar? you know better than them, explain it to me.
Jonathan Wilson
This. Also I hope you record your weights lifted in kgs, don't want no ego boost with the phony bigget numbers in lbs!
Hunter Lewis
kek underrated
Asher Bell
I include the bar because not all bars I use weigh the same. Also, when you do bodyweight squats, how much do you squat? Minus 20kg or something?
Lucas Sanders
This is why when I bench I don't use a bar. Allows me to lift more.
Jackson Sanders
I use barrels and men as measurements
Jonathan Brown
>i also lift my arms when bench pressing..should i count those too?
kek, clearly never seen a fatty try to lift their arms
Gabriel Bailey
>implying US highschool physics is not garbage
Hudson Morris
This
Grayson Taylor
>do you also include the weight of the bar? Will you idiots stop posting stupid-ass memes like this one, please? WEIGHT IS WEIGHT, YOU LIFT ALL OF IT.
Nolan Thomas
If I bench 120kg do I tell people I bench 100kg? No because I'm not retarded
Kevin Baker
I can't fucking believe this is starting to be a meme
Benjamin Allen
It's been a STUPID MEME for a long time now -- and it needs to DIE, along with a whole list of stupid-ass memes.
