could probably be at 5 pl8s by now if i had been training legs the last 6 months before i started ICF 5x5

what is ICF?

can i just do cardio for long distances instead of doing legs? coz the pain from the DOMS slow me down a heap load. it's like im being pulled down hard ro the ground

lifting makes the DOMS go away faggot
stop running, eat and sleep more.
when i started lifting i couldnt even hold my arms straight from the DOMS... pain went away when lifting again.
LIFT THE PAIN AWAY, LITERALLY

I'm on team squat, so I'd say you should be doing squats. My body got used to the DOMS after a month or so.

well i can't shun running forever m8, milffag btw. i just want a perfect balance among the two.

ICF is a lifting program simular to SL
ICF has accessory exercises like curls n shrugs and so on.
ICF takes like 1.5 - 2 hours pr session while SL takes like 45 minutes.

ICF is tough the first 2-3 sessions
after that its great!
i add in wrist rolls at the end of each session.
its only 3 days a week (for a reason) though..
which is why im squatting everyday because i have nothing to do on my rest days

just because its designed by a meme doesnt mean its a bad routine.
literally just SL with added exercises for asthetics

I love squats but they do take testicular fortitude especially to push 100%

i like that you can add weight to it pretty fast and normies get impressed by 2pl8s
hated them aswell before i started doing them 3 times a week

not him but heavy squats make me feel unsafe more than any other exercise

Sprinting is a big difference in terms of muscle development to Long distance though

For SL the rest time should be

1:30 minutes if it was easy
3 minutes if it was hard
5 minutes if you did less than 5 reps

Also never decrease the weight during the work out. This should take max 20 minutes.

Yeah also not him but desu I'm done with college and I'm not looking to be a powerlifter/bodybuilder/athlete, so why risk a trip to snap city? Bodyweight squats and leg press suit me just fine.

How do you fellas deal with that?
Im pretty scared of heavy squats

I just progress extremely slow on them. Add 5lbs per workout, do that weight for 2 or 3 workouts, then add 5 more.
