Pathetic Veeky Forums confessions

>be total bro that just graduated high school
>skip SS routines and do Upper/Lower for a year
>just do a 6 day PPL routine now and only started doing squats since this june
>I can bench more than i can squat by 10 lbs
Jesus fuck....im switching to a strength routine next semester

How are you not ashamed by how thin your legs are? That's why I can never drop squatting as much as I want to just curl all fucking day.

Nothing wrong with U/L if you do a proper routine.

>How are you not ashamed by how thin your legs are?
i am ashamed by how thin they are. its fucking pathetic.
Im doing Ogus 753 starting next month, which is basically U/L. hopefully that squat volume gets me bigger legs

What are your lifts?

1 RM:
Squat: 190 lbs
OHP: 115 lbs
DL: 290 lbs
Bench: 205

>1RM
Go back to SS.

>doing a roiders program when you're not on roids

??

>doing a roiders program when you're not on roids
Ogus 753 isnt exactly a roider's program. Most PPL programs, however, are roider programs

You need to do SS instead of some meme routine.

SS is a meme routine

>these shit stats
>after a year

What the fuck were you doing? Even if you weren't on a powerlifting program you should have developed more strength than this.

>>after a year
about 6 months actually. i lifted 3x a week doing shitty isolations in high school in early 2016

You're doing fine, that guy is just giving you the "INTERNET COOL GUY BETTER THAN U" thing. Go at your own pace.

Try mixing front squats in as well. I find back squats boring but front squats really forced me to up my core strength.

I made a character that looks like a girl I had a crush on in this Japanese porn game and I jerk off to it every once in a while.

I even have a gf who I love, but there was something about that girl. 7/10 at best but hit all the right buttons for me.

...

dont front squats hit the quads better too? ill try out front squats next month.
Also do you think Ogus 753 is a meme routine like the "internet cool guy tough guy" said it is.

...

...

his lifts really arent that bad

Just do volume you fucking autists. SS is meme, 5x5 is meme and won't benefit you in a longer go.
>daily reminder that strength based programs are retarded, especially for beginners
For the first month or two of lifting, you're making the biggest gains of your life. Why the fuck wouldn't you do a volume based program, which will maximise your aesthetics?

>Why the fuck wouldn't you do a volume based program, which will maximise your aesthetics?

For beginners, the point of diminishing returns kicks in sooner than for people who've been lifting a lot longer.

You pretty much peak your beginner gains with SS or 5x5, as long as you throw in some accessories for upper body.

I don't do deadlifts because I find them to be too much of an orchestration

Do you have multiple sclerosis or some sort of cognitive issues?
Because for most normal humans deadlifts are a very easy orchestration.

Is 5x5 really that good? I did it for the first time today and it was piss easy desu.

post the 5x5 routine you did

So for example, bench.

>60% of my max
>80% of my max
>my max
>my max
>my max

2-3min rest in-between. I read some shit (again I'm a beginner) that said do 6x2 then 8x3.

This was easier than that.

>Is 5x5 really that good? I did it for the first time today and it was piss easy desu.

They usually have you start super light.

If you're doing Stronglifts, increase the weight by 10lbs instead of 5 for the first couple weeks on squat, bench and deadlift.

It'll start to feel tough when you start squatting bodyweight +10 or 20 lbs for 5x5 .

What kind of form should I do? Like, 3 seconds up then 3 down? Because I was just kindof, lifting. So my reps were maybe like, 1 second up then 1 second down. Maybe a bit more going up but you get the point.

Then you didn't do it right

If you did it 3 times in a row with 2 minutes rest, and thought it was piss easy, that's not really your max.

recalculate your maxes. lol. you're definitely lifting weights lighter than you should be

fugg

for which lift?
