New to lifting. What the heck is this thing?

New to lifting. What the heck is this thing?

Maybe if you took a more retarded photo...

probably a standing leg press thing but im new too

String machine.

Overhead deadlift rack

Here's a better pic.

That's your standard pushy upity, you do deadlifts on it.

Underbar horizontal row rack

looks like safety bars for bench that you can flip over

its for competitions so they can change out the plates faster. it's for bench press. the foot rest are for the spotters.

Seated squat rack

That's what I thought at first but they don't look like they go down far enough.

ITT: people who never had one of these

People who never succeeded at using one of those*

Its an ER Equipment squat/bench rack.

helps with unracking for bench press. normally you set up with eyes under the bar and lock out, then move it so your arms are vertical.

with this, you set up with shoulders under the bar and when you unrack, the rack tilts back, so you can bench immediately.

Please refrain from talking about things you don't know about.

it's a competition style bench the levers help for quickly changing bench height for different competitors
also hello Hyde Park gym friend :^)
Watch out for ben polack if you want to see some big lifts, dude DLs around 800 squats close to that too, absolute beast

all that bait i posted in this thread and this one gets someone. nice.

>IP number 13

mate, you're baiting up the wrong tree here.

Thanks

Just recently started going. Its a pretty cool place. Everyone is just down to business. Plenty of good equipment too (much of it looks older than me lol). Saw a few people in there today with a shit load of weight on the DL but I didn't count it up. You a regular there?
