>rap and country.
Pick a fucking culture, dammit
>18 year old white kid detected
Nothing wrong with rap but that is garbage.
Also some anime songs as well please. I'm a closet weeb.
>I only listen to REAL RAP like immortal technique and aesop rock
>being well rounded
Country is pretty shitty for working out, but I suppose you need it for your car ride there. I'm not interested in rap either.
For workout music, I'd recommend Sabaton desu. That music pumps me up.
Hs right dude those are objectively awful
Dude that's not even what I'm sayin. I listen to some rick Ross but those songs in particular are garbage.
>sabeton
I listen to some of them but be ready to be called a pleb cause they are too mainstream apparalently.
except they're not
>having regional and cultural loyalties
>not being post-modern
You have no idea what post modern means. Please stop posting
Not him but Hold Me Back is one of the best workout songs of all time. It's like a war chant against those who doubt you or want to pull you down. Rick Ross knows when to be lyrically complex, and when to just create a vibe.
Bro I know why you mean but you're still wrong. You're talking about hype music. Shit that just gets you pumped but doesn't actually have lyrical content. I like those songs too, but that song is still trash.

Kane Brown for country, it's pretty decent. Couple of decent ballads if you're in the mood for feels.
Why do you guys listen to Music while lifting?
I mostly listen just to relax, music rarely pumps me up.

Who wants feels while lifting weights?
You aren't listening to the right music if it isn't pumping you up. Plus listening to music at the gym makes it easier to mind your own business. People are less likely to bother you when you have headphones in.
Record every noise you make in the gym then sample the recordings into darude sandstorm
I used to listen to metal, and sometimes I just forget my earphones and listen to whatever generic rap is playing, but it never has an effect on me. Maybe its not loud enough?
"I like it but it's not lyrical so it's trash"
I used to think like you too. Once you grow out of caring how "intelligent" your musical taste makes you look, you'll feel a lot freer to tap into music the way it's supposed to be tapped into...off of feel. Lyrics are incredibly important, but the repetitive chorus of "hold me back" is what makes it it such a driving force.
Bro I never said that. Did you listen to the links I posted? They're not intelligent at all and are better. You're not rick Ross are you?
No, But I'm a huge rick ross fan and have most of his albums. You're entitled to your opinion, but if I had to choose one rick ross song to work out to, it would be "Hold Me Back" every time.
