I just want to look like a normie. I'm afraid to bulk and gain fat and afraid to cut to lose my gains. I eat like 2k cals a day (logged on MFP) and lift 6 days a week doing PPL

any advice? I lifted for about 8 months a few yrs ago and the same shit happened. I end up looking slightly better proportioned but my unending gut will never go away

This shit takes time and discipline bro. And absolutely don't judge your progress against others.

Story time - I trained with my friend from the start and around 9 months in he was so disheartened that I was making more progress than him. He just powered through and he's a fucking tank now, way beyond me.

If you eat well, train hard and get enough sleep consistently then you will see progress eventually - just focus on this and don't get sidetracked by the nitty gritty right now.

My advice is 1. still eat at a caloric surplus, but eat well - oats, skinless chicken etc 2. drop down the training volume - I don't know what you're doing at the gym but 6 days a week is ridiculous, you need more rest. 3. Do some extra cardio AFTER weights.

Or get on the juisse and be a chump.
