Started doing farmer walks a few months back.
Lats and Traps have gotten huge, Grip strength has improved like crazy, abs of steel, triceps are jacked and My deadlift and cleans have jumped because of them,

Do your farmer walks!

Most people don't have gyms with the right equipment or area to do them.

every gym has dbs. pick them up and walk around the gym with them

with how much weight do you walk and for how long?

Why not just walk on a treadmill with db's?

Most gym don't have heavy enough DBs
>Farmers walking with 200lbs at most
whats the point

just get 2 bags, throw plates in them then carry the bags. not hard kid.

then do deadlift and hold it at the top for as long as you can

This

Dumbbells are not for farmers walks. If you don't have handles, you could use a trap bar, but that's still not the same thing.

Fuck me, we have a retard!

Maybe would could get an aeroplane to take off on a treadmill too!

Durrr

My gym has farmer walk equipment.
And no, bags with no handles are not the same thing. Neither is paused deadlift. It's about gripping and walking with heavy weight.

I can farmer walk 460lbs total but I can't deadlift that much.

So GOMAD+SS has finally been forgotten and now its time to walk with dumbbels in the gym looking like a total idiot..

Fit you never seize to amaze me

They're not supposed to be done with dumbbells. If your gym doesn't have the right equipment, don't bother.

But what if you just revolutionised aircraft?

i never said bags with no handles you spastic.

What kind of bags carry 200lbs+? Do you bring these to the gym and start loading up the bags?
Going to look like you're stealing plates.

> le intentional typo on cease

still though, not OP and I gotta admit farmer walks make me feel like a total dumbass. people sometimes comment on what the fuck I'm even trying to do, but most people just see a pretty big guy (for you) and figure I probably know my stuff.

Never heard of farmer's walk. I'm open to trying, but isn't there a risk to the integrity of the shoulder, elbow, and wrist joints with all that traction force bearing down on them?

Explain. I've been doing them with dumbbells for a while now. Why isn't it good enough?

Where would I walk with them?
I don't want to look weird, I'm already a skeleton

>tfw the dumbbells at my gym are complete trash for doing farmers walks with
>tfw the plates and kettlebells with decent handles only go up to 25KG

The dumbbells just get into an awkward position that I can't continue with long before my grip becomes fatigued

Try your basement or backyard. That way no one can see you. You just have to have the weight to do it at home.

Hmm develop a device that can stack plates and be carried in each hand comfortably?

If my gym had anything like that I'd already be using it

My gym is basic as fuck because it's the only 24hour one around and my work schedule means I go at 1am

>I can farmer walk 460lbs total but I can't deadlift that much.

How do you get the weight up, to walk with it than?

I like farmers walks but I dont see how they would train your triceps

Lightweight baby. Unless your gym has bells heavier than 100lbs. Most don't.

I found they do personally. Not sure why.
I think its sway prevention while walking perhaps?
