Just finished the art of manliness podcast. Lasted a good few months, some great guests from a variety of great subjects.

This is the first and only podcast i listened to, so I'm looking for another podcast i can binge.

Don't use this as a vessel for how much you hate the art of manliness, i don't give a fuck.

I listened to that as well. Listening to Mind Pump and the Art of Charm (you'll enjoy this one)

hey op, is it some new age kind of bullshit or just down to earth, PRACTICAL suggestions?

Post a pic. I want to see the absolute pubes who needs a podcast about being manly. I want a good look at ya.

cringe

I don't understand the hate against AOM. It's realistic and most of the articles are about real shit with minimal filler.

The depression article is fantastic.

JRE
Bill Burr's podcast is goat

Its the name. Most people dont like to be told what to do. Art of manliness implies that you need to learn the most basic thing there is, being a man.

THE DICK SHOW

lol @ you getting triggered this hard by a name

That doesn't seem like a good reason. It's a very general, overarching name.

Nah nig, get with Madcast

> Veeky Forums
> being in charge of emotions
> having nornal reactions to things

This isn't even funny in an ironic fashion.

Hardcore History is dope

...

I second this and The Partially Examined Life

AOM is for limp dicked retards, these fuckers cling to outdated standards on such a large subject because they think modern times have killed manliness.

It hasn't and the pathetic fuckboys that listen to this should just rely on your own definitions of manly (which should come naturally anyway)

You nerds would buy a monocle and a pocket watch if these nerds told you to

I actually stopped listening to Dick a few months ago (swore off most internet related shit). Is the show going well? Did Sean get a raise?

Isn't the dude who runs it like like a serious Mormon? That triggers a lot of people of people- especially his target demographic which would be beckbeards looking to be more manly

It comes across as condescending. Would you give another man the time of the day of he claimed he would teach you how to be manly?

Well not everybody is as insecure as you.

Have you ever read a single article on AOM?

Sean got fired from Madcucks network and I think he got a raise, last I checked Dick is getting something like 170k a year from Patreon.

i have tried a few when they got linked on here and have never been impressed.

i tried to go to their website just now, clicked on "manly skills" and i found exactly what i meant.

i am willing to bet a 1000$ that at least 90% of the people reading AOM never uses their "practical knowledge" irl, who needs to spot a concealed handgun? do you really think you're some kind of target? or that you would ever spot one in your day to day life and prevent someone shooting up an airport?

more examples: considering you have internet and browse Veeky Forums, chances are, you are not some dude living in the outback, so you have no real use for tracking a human, or estimating how large an object is in a field. and you won't need to filter water anytime soon either.

finally: if you get stung by a bee: sucks to be you, but what the fuck did you do anyway? pull out the stinger with some tweezers and carry on with your day.

my point is: for the regular man AOM just sketches a completely distorted picture of what it means to be a man. stop letting some (alleged mormon) DYEL tell you how to act. only autists go about their day to day life by a set of imaginary rules

fucking pathetic

Marc Maron's podcast, WTF, is fantastic.

No ones telling you how to act you fucking cunt. Just look at the titles of the podcast, listen to ones that interest you and shut the fuck up.
This guy actually reads the books the interviewee wrote and asks some pretty insightful questions. There's a load of fit related ones, even rippletwat was on it.

Why are you such a fat cuck? You don't seem very manly at all tbf, you should give him a listen. A man wouldn't get as triggered as (you)

No, unless you want your ears blown out by this memecast I'd avoid at all costs. He whispers then shout real loud.
And unless you pay big bucks then you'll have to settle for a low low low quality torrent that's floating about.

Practical please. Just a nice podcast, a variety of subjects, something cozy to drive to and cycle with.
I have aom as a starting point because I liked his format. A different guest each cast, varying subjects and good at asking the right questions.

scfoan didn't get fired you homo. he quit.

Podawful, check it out! We dox patreon subscribers: www.podawful.com

The description says sports. Is there a lot of sports? I'm not really into it

fuck mark maron. listen to dick

Both look good, thanks mang

>Nah nig, get with Madcast

Which one? Or is it a joke?

literally none of those. madcast is maddox's dying "podcast network". listen to The Dick Show instead.

Sounds a bit edgy for me

>melanin millenials

what the fuck is this

>And unless you pay big bucks
>big bucks

His series' are 5-10 bucks each. If that is big bucks to you then you have bigger problems to worry about other than podcasts

try That Larry Show. A velvet-voiced man tells tales about his life, frequently involving mob characters. I'd say start with episode 2, and if you like it, check out the rest.

>Joe Rogan Experience
It's great and has exposed me to people, views and subjects I never would have found interesting before. He's a very smart and entertaining guy.

>The Figher and the Kid
If you like fighting, it's really good. The chemistry between Schaub and Calleb is terrific and it's interesting to have a former heavyweight, supposedly as tough as men can be, like Schaub be very open and genuine about what it's like to fight 250lbs monsters. It can get annoying at times with all the comedians coming on trying to be funny evere sentence.

Otherwise I just listen to some NHL podcast, but I'll try Art of manliness

Ugh. Go back to cuckddit you fucking piece of shit

Heard Joe does a lot of mma stuff. Is it overbearing? Not in to mma.

Skip the first few "man stories", he stops those because they're pointless. I listened to all of the others though, even things that didn't interest me, you genuinely take something away from each episode. Kinda sad that I'm up to date and have to find a new thing to listen to

You are making way to much of this. Never really read AOM (though i did see vid series with Rip) but those are just fun articles... 'boys own' stuff for young adults...pretty innocent really.

you new to the internet friend?

The only podcast you fucking marks will ever need.

Yes, if he was manly.

It's not saying that you're unmanly, but that its a knowledge base of traditionally masculine things. The Art of ____ is a common title format for many things, all of which don't imply that the person or persons teaching it are all knowing, wish to destroy outside opinions, or that you are inferior to them/lacking knowledge in that subject.

Plus, passing it by just because of its title isn't the smartest thing to do unless it was wildly stupid. It's one of the least bullshit blogs out there.

Common Filth, you filthy sodomites

Only 30 bill burr podcasts on pocket casts
Art of charm starts at episode 190 or something
There's only about 50 this American Life
Wtf mark starts at episode 200

What is this shit man? I bought pocket casts on your suggestion and most shit ain't in it

>Art of manliness

It figures you turbo autists need specific instructions for living a normal life.

>ctrl+f

hopefully one of you will listen to one episode at least

In no particular order:
JRE
Welcome to nightvale
A good Realplay pen and paper RPG podcast
We're alive (goat)
King falls AM
Hello from the magic tavern (gets old DESU)

why would anyone be against personal computers

Just listen to Bill Burr's Monday morning Podcast, not really Veeky Forums related, but fucking funny and He gives great advice.

...

look at that hairy ears

>mac fag

Nu-males with a graphics design degree.

>2017
>listening to that jew for advice
>great advice

>oy vey go.. guys islam is bad you know. we should start a crusade and give land to israel our only ally in the middle east!

This isn't /pol/ but we can go there.

I mean, since he married that ape, he became a bit pussywhipped, but his relationship advice from two years ago helped me greatly

but I use windows seven

/pol/ is mostly "alt-right" fags that dont realise they are a controlled oposition. I have visited it like twice and I always come out disappointed
Talking about white genocide while hugging their 2d waifu body pillows and dying without even having the minimal ammount of children which is 2

The torrents I got was perfectly fine. Anyway Hardcore History is great.

>Art of Manliness has some great advice
>You should also check out Art of Charm. I don't need it, but when I am mentoring others to become their best selves (something we should all strive for), it helps to show that my advice is coming from other sources as well.
>Be sure to also check out Alpha M's youtube.
>Reach out if you are of high intelligence and digest those quickly. I'll let you have my copy of The Game

Nationalism, like manliness, is akin to bones. A healthy body is barely aware of them. When they start to be displayed you can be sure the body is unhealthy, or missing some vital nutrition.

A masculine and well developed man has feelings of nationalism but doesn't spend his time on an anime board hating on muslims

Isn't this the guy who dressed up as a ballerina or something for his daughter birthday?

Yeah when you know you arent gay you can do those stuff

Listen to Mark Bell's Powercast

Fuck. Sounded good, but there's only 10 episodes on pocket casts

Which one m80?

Wft is with so many episodes missing?
Can i start this without the first couple hundred episodes?

Ok

Don't pull out bee stings with tweezers, it squeezes the poison sac

Seconded. One episode will last three, sometimes four gym sessions and keep you pumped the whole way.

Maybe it's juvenile, but I always feel like Batman when I'm exercising and learning simultaneously.

>who needs to spot a concealed handgun?

Found the leaf.

>Just finished the art of manliness podcast.
You have to go back
>I don't give a fuck
>p-pls don't hate in the art of """manliness""" in my thread
You have to go back harder

Don't gay stuff isn't gay, got it

>all these faggot podcasts

Jocko Podcast. ACTUAL badass with actual advice, no bullshit.

the art of autism, if you need someone to tell you how to be manly you'll never be manly faggot

Fucking millennials getting Triggered this hard.

It's most just rants and raves. It's pretty good for some background noise. My buddy plays it on the background when playing video games. I don't like sports and still enjoy his stuff.

>be you
>listen to entire AOM
>fap to traps
>manly as fuck

...

Yeah, MMA is very often a topic of discussion, or atleast he assumes people know a little bit about it when he makes references. There are plenty of episodes though where he just goes deep into stuff like egyptian mythology or stem cell research with some dyel who never touched a weight or punched someone in the face

>art of manliness

lol no

My Dad and Uncles were present in my life.

Holy shit, i thought Veeky Forums being the autism board was a meme.

My favourites in somewhat of an order:

>Monday morning podcast
Podcast by comedian Bill burr where he just rants about shit, tells stories and reads listener's mail. One of the best out there. He sometimes does talk about American sports, but I just skip through those parts.

>This American life
Every week they cover interresting stories about everyday people, fitting in the theme for that week. The golden standard of podcasting/reporting.

>The mystery show
Very very very good podcast about a chick who ivestigates listener's mysteries. Very engaging

>More or less
Podcast by BBC about statistics, mainly about current events

>Hamish and Andy
Two Australian funnyguys/radiohosts

>Ricky gervais podcast
One of the early successfull podcasts
Ricky gervais, Steve Merchant and Karl pilkington giving you a gold time

>Serial
Made by the people of this American life. It's a 10 episode/ season podcast about someone who investigates convicts who claim their innocence. Evert ten episodes are about 1 certain case. Very gripping

Honorable mentions in no particular order:
Bertcast
Joe Rogan experience
My dad wrote a porno
This week in tech
Beautiful/anonymous
Wtf by marc Maron

DRAHVE YER ASS UP, BRETT

>interne keuken
My favourite podcast/radio programme of all time.
The discription would make it sound really boring, but they bring it in a good way
>mosselen om half twee

You haven't read or listened to a single thing this guy and the website works on, have you? You just know that one of these dudes sports a turn of the century moustache and think he's a reverse hipster, don't you?

There are 260 podcasts with different topics of daily life as it involves men. Try finding one that interests you. Then go fuck yourself.

Jocko Willink! All you need to succeed in life. Weight lifting, combat, leadership, history, parenting, literature, discipline... you name it.

Cannot recommend this enough. Jocko is a unique character who may even cure Veeky Forums's autism and make you grow up. Wish I could have listened to him when I was 20.

4 episodes on this one (player fm)

lulz @ the people thinking this is some kind of PUA/fedora/MGTOW bullshit.

It's not "Hey I am x and today I will teach you *insert social interaction with the female species*"

It's a blog mostly about sports, hobbies, fashion, philosophy, diy guides for building stuff etc...

AoM did collabs with Mark Rippetoe, Jack Donovan etc, lots of interesting people

If you replied to this thread with

>tips fedora

you might be projecting something

Such a manly response. Did you learn that from your buttboy podcast?

Look up ''oldie American life''

You ever think maybe they might be referencing the Art of War?

>read their article on meditation
