That's true, Candito is pretty much top tier, his only flaws are he's ungeared (though i hear you can convert him if you get his trust high enough) and won't participate in G4P side quests. Some people swear by Ripp but I never have enough milk to recruit him in Starting City. I know he has the highest starting wis but goddammit I can't deal with uncontrollable party members.
