Graduating with a meme degree in criminology.I am thinking about applying to a police force or to the army as a grunt or a medic. Really not too sure

I'm EE so I'm hoping I don't get completely fucked by exhaustion and give up on lifting altogether.

I've had a few friends go into the marines right after high school though, and most of them have turned into MONSTERS. They were always adamant about being physically active before the marines, however; so I doubt it'll pull miracles.

Criminology here as well.

You didn't need the degree if you were just going to join the police as an actual COP.

You might as well use the degree and apply for comfy office positions at your local police departments, it's better pay, no risk, and you basically cant get fired.

>becoming a grunt during what is essentially peace time
Just don't, you'd be a very underpaid janitor that pulls stupid long duty shifts and sometimes goes on terrible camping trips.

>>occupation- 11b US army

>>does your job get in the way with your routine- it did desu a lot of time out in the field and army PT drains you so out of the past 4 years I've been in I've maybe lifted for maybe 14 months total but with a shitty diet but I get out in a little over a month so I basically don't work anymore other than clearing and staff duty
>>gf? Married
>

What do you plan on doing after graduation?

I mean were sending people into Iraq near Mosul so ya never know especially with mad dog and the don

It took heaven and earth to get a decent chunk of one brigade of the "premier" regular army unit to go and not do anything kinetic. Unless you go jsoc.

Ex-mil here, that's airsoft.

I work a shitty desk job now, but for a couple of years I was a Lands Management Officer.
It was mid level management of the Crown Lands system in my province. Basically I evaluated applications for Crown Land for suitability, availability, clarity of title, that sort of thing. The area which I administered was very remote, so it meant a lot of hiking and ATV work for examining sites. I'd spend about 2-3 days a week on the office and the rest on the road or on site.
I have a master's in Land Use Planning.
I made 66k after tax income in that job (making a little more now that I've graduated to a full desk job).
No injuries, though I did fall through ice that was covered in forest detritus once on a site, and had to walk back to the truck about 3 kilometres in subzero temperatures with a wet foot and calf.
I'm 5'10", about 200 pounds, bench 305, squat 395, DL 455.
My diet is straight up bodybuilding meal prep, I eat 5 times a day on a set schedule.
My job used to force me to adjust my meals on occasion, but nothing serious.
I have a gf, we're talking about moving in together and deciding whether to do it now or when I buy a house in July.

Fuck that. I want my degree and dreams. Maybe later.

I'm getting ready of OCS. From what I've read it's light years above grunt stuff, but I haven't talked to alot of people about it yet.

I used to work in the staffing field for locums. I truly wish you the best of luck, but you will not make 160k. You might as well become a doctor if you want that kind of pay and someone to actually hire you. Maybe when you are in your late 30's early 40's will anyone consider to pay you that much and that's if you spent the last 20 + years completely devoting your life to the profession.

EMT, worked the road and now work in an ER, going to go back for nursing in the next year or so. Hoping to do flight nursing (medivac). There's countless applicants for it but most of them are fat slobs and there's a weight limit to the profession since copters can't handle 3-4 350lb people.

Sorry to burst your bubble user but you better have at least a 3.5GPA and 6+ years of ICU experience to get into CRNA school. A lot of students think they're gonna waltz right in before they even graduate without realizing they're competing with 40 year old men and women who have been nurses for 20 years. GL though

Do you own a farm or do you work on it?

work on it, it's my dad's farm

how many acres ? and which country ? My dad is a farmer too

I'm jelly of people like you. My friend's dad also owns a farm.

He's already set for life and even in the worst case scenario where he fucks up he can sell it for millions.

Also a great place to grow up I imagine.

I used to trip pipe 84 hours/week. Couldn't make gains but I was wirey as fuck with functional strength meme.jpg

Constantly pulling 150lb slips and racking 1,000 lb string into the hole.

My dad also had a farm. 100ha, maybe 10 workers in the autumn season.
After going back from school at 3pm I had to work there for free with workers who never finished highschool and were paid below minimum wage.
Dad was pretty greedy, he also didnt accept I'm gay and hates me for not wanting to run the farm after he dies.
Moved to different country, so I could actually earn money.

he is right, fucking gay scum. I would do the same
