I believe Shaw is more like 6'5".

Nah, Shaw is legit that height. The difference in that pic is part perspective, and some competitors use boots while doing stones to make the final part of the lift easier

Nurses at doctors offices often don't measure anyone so tall they'd need to bother with getting a chair to step on, they just save time by asking.
So, Thor could be taller now than when he was 17 yrs old. Meaning Shaw could still be 6'8".

honestly, strongman height and weight listings are always pretty fucking wrong. Shaw is usually listed at 180kg when really he's around 200
they haven't really got any reason to lie about their height like wrestlers do to sell tickets.
