Helter Skelter is barely Beatles, have you ever listened to it?
It's very hard, comparatively.
This ofc

the only song that can pump me up for 6 miles without skipping a beat
Muse.
There's absolutely nothing better for the gym, cardio or lifts

>listening to music while running
literally why?
I started listening to audiobooks.
This
/lift/ is a bunch of fagets
Boredom
Has never ran for more than 4 miles.
I can never understand why people find running boring. I always just enjoy running for what it is. Doesn't it feel more like a chore when listening to music? And if it gets to boring, why not change route?
pretty sure that you're gay m8
The novelty wears off when your training for an ultra, in for 3 hours and just listening to the droning of your feet, going the same route as the day before that and etc.
You're the kind of guy that thinks running 2 hours is the minimum to be efficient right ?
lmao
>the only song that can pump me up for 6 miles without skipping a beat
THIS
Pink season, of course.
Classical music.
I listen to In Our Time podcasts.
Or some audiobook.
Evangelion theme song is on my playlist too
cringy music from amv's.
I prefer not listening to music while running.
You get a lot of thinking done while running, it helps you work through your problems and anxieties. It's like meditation, listening to music just makes it high-stimulation like every other part of the day.
Action Bronson, Biffyclyro, Sabaton, Brand New and then some NWA and Ice Cube

i run to chill
Only when the weather is shit and I run on a treadmill. Otherwise I run outside to the sounds of my city.
Guile's Theme.
No, I'm not joking. I even listen to it when I lift.

Hell yeah man, enjoy.
It's eclectic, but largely electronic-oriented. I keep adding to it as I come across appropriate tracks, and then just shuffle the playlist when I run.
lol just reminded me of this

thanks man
Mostly full sets from concerts. My favorite band for running is Umphrey's McGee - they play two sets about 60-90 minutes each and it's different every time.
I really love getting into a song that's 20 minutes or so and completely zoning out, then realizing I've moved miles in that time.
Mainstream garbage
I have a playlist of a bunch of upbeat songs by the strokes and bands like them

Hotline Miami soundtrack makes me run much faster.
Contrarian faggot
I either run solo and no music or with a friend in which case running with music would be rude.

What do you guys use to hold your phone?
I have an armband but that shit is uncomfortable with a sweater on, opinions on running packs or fanny packs?
I like it, good pick
youtube.com
any gachi works
i would say to look for a different armband. Some have been good to me and others haven't. Fanny packs would flop around too much. Only other thing i can think of is getting shorts with pockets on the back that could fit your phone.
I feel like there's probably cheap ipod shuffle type devices that could do the trick as well. use it solely for running songs.
podcast, something from corolla, rogan or the Stuff group
nothing. I try to focus on pace and breathing.
gr9 b9 m9
i don't listen to anything
jesus christ, are you so afraid of a moment of silence that you have to be stimulating yourself 24/7
I use this ancient technology called my hand
anything with a fastish tempo, music set my rhythm and if its too slow then I can't get close to my target times
>Fox Stevenson
you're alright
running makes me feel good, upbeat music makes me feel good. Put the two together and you have a recipe for fun when running solo
Running in a group though, nothing compares to the bantz
>voluntarily throwing off your natural cadence and making it more difficult for yourself to think
never gonna make it
running is a meditative activity, keep your breath, consciousness of the ground in front of you and your pace at the back of your mind and let your thoughts drift, refocusing whenever you need to vary something
yes
But actually, I do run without music sometimes but it's just so awesome to run with music as well. It can feel really cinematic at times and helps you get your mind of the pain. Once I'm in good running shape I usually do more running without music
Hell yea, I cant stand it. My mind runs all over the place - and not in a meditating sense. Some Liquid DnB soothes the soul and motivates me to push further and faster in tune with the beat.
Pocket with wire tucked into shirt
>listening to music while running
>hear the sound of my respiration
yeah no
I listen to the sound of nature. Mainly because bears. We had a guy mauled to death 2 years back running the trail I run. A few attacks and sighting since then by locals
I literally and unironically listen to One Punch Man OST
youtube.com
plus I use zombies run so the base radios me every k or so
