Pediatrics stage. The doctor on-call had to examine a kid with some sort of inflammation at his genital area...after a detailed medical history of the little boy (6-7 years old) and questioning the mother and grandmother who were with him...That the ladies=mom and grandma were blowing in his fking pee hole...because they read it grows the penis later on...and that caused infection of the urinary tract.

No stories.But heard people going to endocrinology for hormone re-balance.

I thought you guys weren't allowed to banter anymore because patients keep sneaking hidden cameras/microphones into the O.R? Like fuck them. You're doing an incredibly stressful job and if talking shit about your body while they cut into it relaxes you, I say have at 'er.

How do you enjoy the surgery life? I want to become one.

pediatrics doctor in a hospital was banging a 17 y.o 9/10 (he liked younger babes, here lies the reason becoming a pedi doctor) ...they basically had an affair. Girl gets smart and tries to blackmail him. He throws her from the 4-th floor of his house. At hospital she tried to play the rape card and she refused thus was thrown...but it was medically proven she was not raped. Wife left him after this. He was suspended.

Depends very much.Where you do it and what kind.

It did on-calls and training since year one. I didn't like the detective work(internal medicine) and i was skilled with my hands so it was not a hard choice for me.

Depending on the country there are different specializations. I like the general surgery-which in my country treats everything in the abdominal area pertaining of the Gastro-intestinal tract. and the Thoracic surgery which deals with what is behind the ribs except heart and the arteries+veins.

You can find something you like for sure.But consider this...and consider well. It will cut your life. You will not have outside social life..meaning you will have friends from hospital or conferences only. You work a lot. Sometimes 36-48 hours. You will have little time for yourself (this depends on the specialization e.g. there are doctors that work 6 hours a day and make 5 figure in euro)

It has enough downsides so you should do this if you really like it. But surgery life is nice.
Also the gym helped me ..in the surgery you must sometimes hold the leg how the main surgeon likes for 20-25 mins and its fking heavy if you don't lift. Good luck

I'm a first year med school student. What specializations are "easy" like that? In my country it is jokingly said that being a general practitioner in some bumfuck town is the easiest job but you have to endure retarded patients all day every day.
