Finally broke my bench plateau

Finally broke my bench plateau.

My max is 155 for 3. This Monday I basically did like 25 sets at 155 for 3, taking 3 min between each set.

Took the next 3 days off.

Today I hit 155 for 7, then I started repping out 165 for sets of 4.

I was stuck at 155 for 3 for almost 6 months now. Finally progressed.

what do you want a metal?
get outta HEEERRRRREEEEEE

I did the same OP, stuck at 220x5 for ever, last week I hit 225x5 and it was easy.
Then I had to spot some short skelly kid doing 225 who had his ass a foot off the bench and almost caved in his chest from bouncing the bar so much. I worked hard to get this with good form and he's cheating his reps. Why does this anger me.

YES I WANT MY MEDAL AND I WANT IT NOW

REEEEEEEEEEEEE

>mfw I realized there's no plateau, just shitty, uninformed lifters

good job user

how long lifting

It was kc tire and it was on Veeky Forums

are you talking about pounds or kg's

cm's

that's not a measurement of weight or mass though

no but it is a unit of energy (E=cm^2)

it's actually E=mc^2
m= mass
c= the speed of light

in general, yes, but not in this case

Pounds lol. How the fk would I increase my bench by 10 kg in 3 days.

1 year and a half

>25 sets of 3

shit nigger what are you doing?

How's that first year of gym working out for you?
A plateau is a personal thing, it's not a point where everybody will stop making gains.

Apparently breaking my bench plateau. I think the high volume shocks the muscles.

With a 3 minute rest in between, no less

>Hogging a bench for 75+ minutes

What? Are you counting the bar? The bar is 45lb

Have you tried trying and bulking? It's normal you don't make any gains while on a cut or maintenance but when I bulked last time my bench went from 65kg 3x5 to 85kg 5x5 effortlessly in 12 weeks.
