1st movie - Goku essentially had to go half super saiyan god (during the fucking cell arc) to beat him. they pulled the "give me your power" out of their fucking ass as a deus ex machina.
if it was for a spirit bomb I could understand but it literally was just the proto-super saiyan god.

2nd movie - took Trunks, Goten, Gotenks, Gohan, Krillin and Goku to fight him. And even after all that it took a 3 on 1 kamehameha from Goku, Gohan and Goten to beat him.

3rd movie - wasnt actually Broly so its irrelevant.

Then goku shows up and he's like 4 times as strong as Vegeta. The motherfucker went through a fat, juicy bag of senzu on the trip, he was popping them like mints. When he arrived on Namek, he had like what 3-5 left ? Dont remember exacly. That bag was like easilly 2kg of beans, and he crushed through all of that.

self inflicted wounds don't invoke the zenkai, which is why vegeta had krillin blast him on vegeta as frieza transformed into his last form.

Dude, Zenkai's have a hard limit to how high you can go with them and if you're over that level you get one or two and that's it.

The entire race of saiyans outside of a handful would have seen all the zenkai boost they'll ever get for their entire life and never crack 15k.
Anyone above that powerlevel, who saw no or very few zenkai will only see 1 or 2.

Wanted to be able to go outside and play with my son without needing 999 rest breaks or keeling over dead.
