Not entirely comparable. Mariusz was fighting people of similar size so his strongman background only meant so much. I'm not sure there are other people big enough to compete against Hafthor, he's just the complete combo of height/weight.

For comparison between the two it's a size difference of a 6'0" normal to a 5'4" manlet. The reach alone would be one of Hafthor's greatest weapons.

I've seen this video many times and I'm not 100% sure who would actually win. Obviously Björnsson has a massive reach and strength advantage, but neither of the men are utilizing their full repertoire of skills. There are plenty of times where McGregor is in striking distance of Björnsson's chin, and he might have been able to score a knockout if this had been a real MMA fight, since he's such a good boxer.

On the other hand, the way Björnsson can shoot out his hand and grab McGregor by the back of the neck like your pissed dad when you were a kid is pretty impressive. In a MMA fight, He might just completely shrug off McGregor's punches, and then just body slam him like a doll. Though I'm not sure how hard Björnsson actually hits. He lands a pretty serious body shot on 1:20 that McGregor seems to just walk off. You'd think any hit from such a fucking beast would drop McGregor instantly, but it didn't.

In a real fight, the big guy would just grab a hold of the smaller guy and sit on top of him until he pounded his head into pieces.
