What the fuck does "Veeky Forums aesthetics" means?
The only Veeky Forums aesthetics I can think of are shots of oiled muscular bodies rubbing one another.
That would be either turkish wrestling or gay porn.

It looks like shit, Snyder is a hack. You can feel that almost entire film was shot in small studio in front of green screen and it has Snyder signature shitty golden-like filter.

underrated movie desu. Most boxing movies are trash but i love this one.

It's kinda vague, but when I say "Veeky Forums aesthetics" I mean a movie that's "high test", so to speak. Fight Club obviously fits this. The Matrix isn't quite as obvious but it's badass and teaches the benefits of mental fortitude, discipline, and training.

Neo: "What are you trying to tell me....that I can dodge bullets?"

Morpheus: "No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to."

American Psycho

>I live in the American Gardens Building on West 81st Street on the 11th floor. My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

any fighting/boxing movie so Rocky/Creed, Warrior, Southpaw, Fight Club, Million Dollar Baby, Kickboxer, Bloodsport.

Also, I really liked Real Steel with my boy Jackman. Its not really fitness and I probably would not have liked it at all if it wasn't for Hugh.

Bronson is pretty fun. I like watching Hardy's movies to learn how to grunt

If you guys want a recommendation from left field, and you don't mind subtitles, watch once upon a time in highschool. It's a slow burn to start with, but man does it end up inspiring. It's on youtube, but I wouldn't try watching it there the audio is fucked. Just find a stream.
