I want to get rid of whatever this is, I have used normal cleansing stuff but it hasn't worked.

Bit of both.
Get those blackhead nose pads and slap it on, let it sit, and rip it off.
Or go hard mode and get those disgusting tools to dig them out.

try a face mask, if it doesnt work its probably open pores where lotion and steamy hot sauna helps. Atleast it did for me

Yes white stuff comes out only, blackheads are meant to be only black with a streak of white behind them right?

Using those basically stretches out your pores.
Just lightly scrub with soap each time you shower.
