Everything that guy has said is wrong. I've been doing Keto for the past 3 months. No bad breath, energy out the dick, and most certainly have dropped over 20lbs.
The video is probably old, and he's clinging to his bias which is to believe he's correct over everyone else, but Keto is effective for weight loss. Even if you remain in Ketosis, the basis of what your meals look like stand to scrutiny.

Correction caloric deficit is 100% necessary for 100% of people trying to cut. Keto isnt magical in that you eat low carb and your body just decides to burn fat into oblivion. A caloric deficit is still required.
The benefit that you get with keto is less hunger cravings, more energy, and to some extent a muscle sparring effect. These help to maintain a caloric deficit. Not everyone will experience these benefits and most people don't do keto long enough or correctly enough to get them.

Exogenous ketones are a good way to put yourself into it much quicker. I take some on days I do 24 hour fasts before weigh-in.
MCT oil, blueberries and raspberries (as long as it stays within your macros) also help entering ketosis. I do CKD so I usually fast for about 20 hours after my carb up with my breakfast being eggs and a whole bunch of coconut oil right after some cardio.
It also depends how long you've been on keto. If you've already been fat adapted after being on keto for a few months you can enter ketosis much much faster than someone who's been trying keto for a few weeks. You also experience much less side effects from keto flu

Yup drinking a gallon of broth a day kept me feeling fine when I first started keto. One day i got it pretty bad though so I chugged 3 tablespoons of salt with water. Had the worst diarrhea of my life but damn did my headache go away instantly. I should note I was also taking mg and potassium supplements at the time
