That only happens if you get fat fridge mode that people tend to do on starting strength. If you are leans and dont train legs you will look stupid as hell.

Honestly I agree, unless you have poverty leg genetics. Squats are a good exercise if they fit your needs, but giant quads look like tumors and make it hard to even find pants. Glutes would be better hit through other exercises too if people want a better ass.

There are 6pl8s but one looks bit wider. I assume its the 30kg one (might be 25kg tho), so bar + 5pl8x2 + 1widepl8x2 = 20+200+50(60)=270-280kg

SS isn't that bad if you modify the routine to bench 3x a week also and just do pullups errday instead of barbell rows. Also, do accessories.
