What a shitty program

...

I pretty much do >push (squats, bench, ohp, dips)
>pull (deads, chin up, pull up, rows)
>"rest" (cardio, core exercise)

You guys don't run into problems doing squats and deads on back to back days?

I do push, rest, day off, pull, rest, day off, rest

Newfag here. What does "PPxPxPx" mean? I assume it's something to do with how your split is distributed throughout the week.

Monday push
Tuesday pull
Wednesday rest (x)
Thursday push
Friday rest
Saturday pull
Sunday rest

just making a new routine focusing on hypertrophy and making use of using a weight for ~8 reps and then supersetting with a lighter weight to failure (inspired from scott herman's cheat + recover)

what are your exercises bruh

>1 day just for arms

Can you tell me what exercises you do?

It seems pointless to have 1 day for arms and then the other days you combine what is most likely 2x major barbell compound lifts on one day. Wouldn't it be more efficient to do chest/triceps, back/biceps, shoulders/legs?

Not saying you're wrong, just wanna know how it works for you.

Are you at 1/2/3/4 and moving to hypertrophy?

Or just generally focussing on bodybuilding?

Can someone who does 2 or more heavy barbell compound lifts in one day tell me how they maintain it?

Do you alternate between intensity and volume?

Or do you just stick to the main compound lifts and disregard isolations and/or lighter dumbbell accessory work?

asking for a friend btw

push/pull/rest
on every pull day i will do either squats or deadlifts first, i dont need to do any more legs cuz my legs and ass are already huge so yea, also one of my push days is more shoulder oriented and the other is more chest oriented. i like to go 4x a week tho

no.. a lot of people on here will disagree with me but you don't need a strength base before working on hypertrophy, you don't even need the big 4 in your workout to get big
pic related is the last time I spoke about training for hypertrophy so believe what you want, I've been training for almost 2 years and only made significant size gains doing a split

I absolutely agree with you. Bodybuilding has nothing to do with strength. Just look at rich piana

Can I run rack pulls on my pull day instead of deads? I fucking hate deads.

Getting my DICK wet in the club

Rip has a video on rack pulls. Don't remember what it said though, I'd look into it

you will get stronger if you eat, sleep and train properly, but the focus is hypertrophy rather than training to get stronger

you can get heaps stronger without getting heaps bigger, and you can get heaps bigger without getting as strong

...

5/3/1

i always bench/squat or bench/deadlift only other thing i do is chinups/pullups so you mostly ignore accessory stuff unless you are bulking then you could probably handle it
