thing is, there's no "exact" dosing for DNP since it hasn't been studied as it should have been. That said, the yardsticks we have right now are just "safe enough to not kill yourself but you could probably go higher" which is not a good idea for a substance with such a low therapeutic index.
It blocks your body's energy production where most of your consumed calories, instead of getting used or stored as fat, is shunted out as heat. Anything can be a poison if you take enough of it, how much depends on how low the substance's therapeutic index is. The lower something's TI is, the closer the SAFE and KILL dosages are from each other.
