Is this a meme?

Is this not a good routine for a skinny fat guy getting back into working out?

It is a meme. Full-body or gtfo.

It doesn't matter what routine you do as long as heavy compound lifts are a core function of the routine. The most important thing is consistency. If this is something you're able to do for months at a time go for it.

Its good if you do it 6 times a week. If you only have 4 days upper/lower is better.

OP - no matter what program you do always start your workout with a heavy compound. I.E. - Bench, Squat, OH Press, Row, Weighted Dips or Rows. After that you can do accessory work.

It's a meme if you're not intermediate

Full-body is what I would recommend, you will build muscle a lot faster.

This seems like the biggest meme of all, something a cross-fitter would recommend

Are you fucking trolling me brah

Dyel

describe "getting back into working out"

what was your lifting like before you stopped? how long has it been?

I was doing this but 4-5 days a week

2.5 years

I've worked out 2 weeks doing this again but it's going to be at least another month to get up to a workable level anyway, so when I do, I want to get it right

So if I work out 4 days a week upper/lower?

Is this a good reference?

its not bad, but you wont make as good of progress as a full body.

its popular, because its less stressful.

It's good if you're just starting

well, you did it for 2.5 years before.'

What were your lifts at, at the end of 2.5 years?

this

great for intermediate-advanced not going specifically for competition lifts/bbing.
Is a great routine for maintenance also.

No, I stopped working out for 2.5 years

I did PPL for 1.5 years after doing some street workout shit before that

Weighed 165 and maxed 110 dumbbell bench x3, 405 deadlift x1, only 250 squat

I don't care about getting strong anymore or ego lifts cause my gainz were shit. Gainz above everything

sho-sho faggot-destiny

It's literally a fancy ABCx split
A: chest/tri/front + side Delta
B: back/traps/biceps/forearms
C:legs

Don't listen to people telling you to do a meme SS workout, there's tons of transformation progress proof that shows PPL gives much better results than starting strength or stronglifts

>PPL much better than SL and SS
Well, that's a fucking lie.

405 deadlift, 250 squat I smell a dyel

for a bulking intermediate lifter(me) its the best imo. you can still add strength relatively easy while you still have volume and build mass.

there is no reason for there to be other posts past this one

Unless you're talking about aesthetics, fuck you for spreading lies to people asking for honest advice

Why would you be on Veeky Forums and lifting if your main concern wasn't aesthetics?

You think fat "powerlifters" are received well by anyone?

Strength base

SS --> accessory heavy split TM is objectively great

Note: there is no need to get fat and neglect relevant accessories on SS

I dont think so, I did PPL when i was bored with sheiko. I used Coolcicada's PPL as a template and i put on some pretty good mass. I went back to sheiko after 12 weeks

Just do a brosplit based on big compounds

In before some t-rex tries to argue this

110x3 DB bench, so he definitely wasn't DYEL

probably just has poor squatting leverages

Is intermediate based on how much you can lift or age?

>Deadlift
>Pull
That is why your DL is weak
