Freq vs Intensity

Does frequency or intensity matter more? I used to hear intensity. Now the answer has been changed to frequency. What do you think?

volume, but higher frequency is seemingly better for this as you can better manage fatigue and phases (see Norwegian high volume programming)

I think your question is stupid. They are both important, and any intelligent routine will balance frequency, volume and intensity correctly for your level of training advancement.

I'd say intensity. You can get good results off a shit program if you do it enthusiastically and bust your ass on it.

That being said, you're obviously going to get better results working out more frequently to a point - 2 workouts a week is way better than 1, 3 is slightly better than 2, 4 not much better than 3, etc.
