Reminder: learn the core principles and do what works for you. Veeky Forums isn't the whole world. There's al ot of good advice/information here but ignore the attitude.

For example, I can't use MFP and things like that. I just can't autistically input information into a spread sheet a bunch of times a day like that. That's way harder for me to keep up than a reasonable calorie deficit.

I personally just memorize the calories of things I Could/use commonly, and look things up when I don't know, and stick to my calories like that.

Don't listen to someone who tells you you won't make it. Especially over something trivial. And don't give up.

I have noticed my arms / tummy getting smaller. It has been 3 weeks. Not as sore anymore and don't feel like I am going to die after a workout.

Did a 20/4 warrior fast today, didn't even feel that hungry during. Did some cardio as well, 25~30 minutes of jump rope, I'm getting bretty good at it and suggest it for all the fat folk here, learning tricks is fun and keeps me focused on staying at it.

I think I'm gonna make it, not eating wasn't hard. Maybe your issues are psychological so try to deal with those and you'll be better off. Good luck to you other whales.

I've fucking regressed. My goal is betwe 12 and 15% bfp. I was on 17, and then dropped down to 16 point something. I was close. Then uni hit, and although I was eat ok amounts of calories, almost no protein. Then I binged for about a fortnight. Now I'm 18.2. Fuck.

At least my lifts went up I guess.

I've ordered some protein powder. It'll be nice not to fuck up my deficit because I need protein.

Was the binge associated with school stress (or any stress)? If it was, it's very important that you learn some new coping strategies to replace binge eating.

Well the first line of action is to eliminate the stressors if you can, but if that isn't an option than some healthier coping mechanisms might be listening to/playing music, socializing, low to moderate intensity cardio, meditation (this is a big one), playing with pets if you can... just try to figure out what helps you relax and unwind. Keeping a goof sleep schedule can really help both stress management and studying as well

Fats, today I had 2 eggs, cup of coffee, 2 carrots and my vitamins, later I went to the gym with my pal, did 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of each machine (4), then the gym trainer told us if we wanted to play basketball with them so we did. After my workout I red a book and had white rice and steamed vegetables (broccolli, cucumber, celery) and discussed philosophy with my gym pal, I don't really like it but he does so I make an effort to have a chat about it. Now I'm heading to a place and having some chicken breast and salad.

Fatbois we all are gonna make it. Keep it up, this fucking thread has helped me so much in the psychological aspect.

keep your protein high and you shouldn't lose any muscle mass on a 1000 kcal deficit. I haven't in a month+ since starting.

if you've been good, sure. make sure to insert the full calorie of the whole soda and fries first. That will keep you from mindlessly eating if you are going over

So far, it's pretty easy for me, though my family likes to tempt me with fast food about twice a week.

Other than fries and soda on those days, I drink a ton of water and eat raw veggies and fruit, and oatmeal. I'm already down a pants size and I feel great.

How do we teach people that it's easier to lose weight than it is to gain weight?

It's an absolute fact yet there are so many fucking fat people.

They don't even have to stop eating fast food and pizza and whatever else they eat. They just need to learn to eat less of it!

It's been going great. I basically make the same meals I used to, just with more beans or tofu. Lost weight and am exercising daily.

My family has been very supportive. They are cutting back their animal product intake significantly and probably eat less animal products now than an average vegetarian.

What made you switch? Anything you read online? On here?

I switched after watching Dr. Greger's videos and doing some research myself on nutrition and factory farming.

It's an addiction. We're just lucky that we realized it and took steps towards controlling it.

Look up the nutritional information of what you're cooking, weigh/measure it, then do a little bit of elementary school math to figure out how many calories it is. What is there to struggle with.

For me it was also lack of knowledge. I thought the foods I was eating weren't nearly as bad for me as they were.

I figured just eating some pizza one night a week wasn't that bad as long as I didn't go overboard. But even just two slices is already overboard because pizza is so bad for you.

If you eat home cooked stuff you just add everything up before you mix it. Of course its not super precise then but better than not counting at all.
