I can't listen to music while lifting or running.

When I'm lifting I'm focused on the lifting and when running the earphones keep hopping out and having something in your pockets feels bad

kpop

I use powerbeats since they fit my ear the best and have decent sound compared to most in ears

Where the hell you keep your phone while working out?

i listen to my own spotify playlists. I'm not going to listen to some other guy's music selection.
I listen to some (hard) rock and metal mostly, but it depends on the type of workout

Fucking gay cunt

Bluetooth earbuds. I recommend powerbeats. Decent battery life, good sound quality, you can put your phone on the treadmill while you run so nothing in the pockets. If you run outdoors idk you still need to carry it on you.

I wish they were 50 bucks again

You know any good instrumental heavy metal? I tried looking for some myself but the genre seems full of cheesy lyrics about valor, honor, Vikings or some shit. Pretty new to the genre but it helps me lift more.

>sometimes
>some sort of adidas sport earbuds with hooks
>fuck spotify, I just use music stored on the micro sd of my phone (why am I the only one in 2017 who still does this when it's clearly better than paying for a service and wasting data/needing a signal for shit bitrate songs and they don't even have all the music you might want?)
>My phone mostly has folk, 1970s country or progressive rock

>not putting wireless headphones over your face cause they're too heavy and will slip off otherwise

I don't listen to music while working out as much as work out while listening to music. It feels exhilarating.
Sometimes it's upbeat music, sometimes it's angry music but it's always lively.

sabaton

Rage against the machine

i hate this show so much

Shut your whore mouth.

I listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers usually when I run. Typically listen to some more heavy stuff when I'm lifting. PR'd on bench to The Hardest Button to Button by the White Stripes yesterday.

Hardstyle

I uses to like it, now it's so hyped that something enjoyable and smart has been severely overrated now

Today in the Gym I was listening to clips of Alex Jones shouting at callers
Was great would reccomend

Bluetooth headphones

In your pockets?

yes. i use $10 noise-cancelling earbuds that i bought at a pharmacy. music-wise, a lot of brahms, beethoven and schubert

Podcast master race, music is for retards, why not educate yourself while lifting? Or laugh out loud from joe Rogans podcast and let everyone hear you laugh in the gym.

Powerbeats 3 earphones master race also

I listen to podcasts or audiobooks when I workout, but switch to eurobeats when I get up to my work weight.

pic related is what im listening to right now.

Fucking cringe

>not listening to Wheeler Walker Jr's "Redneck Shit" album

Wait wtf where do u get that on audio user

youtube.com/watch?v=zy1Y-bWQEAs

Smashing pumpkins fan and anything 90's grunge really. I use cheap ear buds like Sony.
Other than that, can't really use them while I run but I normally don't like listening to music while running anyways. I used to listen to Audiobooks while taking a run through the woods.
What are some good podcasts you recommend? I'm new to the whole podcast, I used to just listen to the radio chatter.

>slayer

oh and i use jaybird bluebuds x or whatever. they're great :)

power beats are absolute garbage

went through 2 of them each lasting less than 3 months before breaking. noise isolation and sound quality is garbage as well.

All the ones I listen are pretty good, but if I had to pick one to listen to while working out it's definitely Hardcore History

There's a 7 part series on world war 1, which might sound super fucking boring at first, but the way Dan Carlin narrates the war is fucking engrossing in a way that few very things are to me. I didn't even think I was into history before listening to that series

Working the fuck out of my muscles are hearing about what happened almost exactly 100 years ago are the only time I think I genuinely enjoyed the act of working out

Just go on any podcast app and search Hardcore History and listen to the Blueprint for Armageddon series

>youtube.com/watch?v=bUO-mfuPAqI
Listening to eurobeat mostly.

Russian Circles, Pelican, and Boris (there are vocals but they're in Japanese) are high-energy and sludgy if that's what you're into, if you want power metal stuff I can't help you.

My favorite is absurdly heavy sludge stuff like this: youtube.com/watch?v=s3jzKrMZL08 though I sometimes listen to tasteless normie pop and trap.

youtube.com/watch?v=cUvg419gay4

Am i the only one who listens to music i hate and music that has really painful memories attached to go full beastmode

>cUvg419gay4

>tfw I've broken my Sansa Clip+ and now have to use old MuVo v200

>Do you listen to music while lifting?
Yes, it helps isolate my aspergers from others.

>What kind of earphones?
Shitty shit ones, that came with my 2009 Samsung dumbphone.

>What kind of music?
Mostly classical, some irish rock.

>Spotify? Something else?
Creative MuVo v200

My own playlist; it's literally only REM. I don't own any other music - I've pretty much only listened to REM for years.

If it's true, neat taste user.
