CICO is a meme

I'm not a power lifter but I'm still always scared of squats due to soreness, what stretches/lifts do you guys recommend for warming up for them?

>i got recognized from my yt
>"you gon squat 550?"

"He's obviously roiding"

>whats your openers going to be

I actually wish I was Paul
Not even memeing
Life is so unfair

be careful that man is mentally ill/unstable and might try to take advantage of you

The difference between talentchad and GDE is striking, look at the facial structure and necks, goddamn.

Though the fact that Paul hasn't committed sudoku and still dares show his face in /plg/ is kind of admirable in a sense.

Say that to my face not online and I'll bomb the fuck out of you

I don't know what bombing is but I'll be happy to say that to your face in person and you won't do shit you punk ass bitch nigga

Hows lifting been

Paul

r r r r r R RRRRRAAAAFFFFAAAEEEEELLLLL

The "man" on the right is 4 years older than the kid on the left hahahahaha oh my sides

today is the day

If paul offers you anything to eat or drink do not accept it

Trust me

Is there going to be a stream? What's the link

OK bitch ass nigga linden nj meet me fuck face

Fucked my back up working, had to take few weeks off. LPiNG back up

>Fucked my back up working
sure you didn't slump into a deep depression after the hobbit favela monkey wouldn't even reply to your sorry ass? KEKEKKEKE

add me on steam bb

I got over that in a few days tbqf

What's your steam

a-achromaticcold :3

why do sumo dls come off the floor slower

Lmao my slow down around knee level - that's my sticking point

ROUND back RETARD detected KEK

Nah, just just arms -> terrible back angle -> the whole thing becomes lower back dominant and the biggest issue is keeping the bar from pulling me over.

TOP KEK paul absolutely BTFO

Short arms*

nope record yourself from the side you are 100% rounding

Kermit 3rd attempt is soon, 250kg.

Recording it

nice post when you've got it plz

Make sure to shout out his coach

Lmao, have you never seen someone with shitty deadlift proportions lad?
Like 194cm tall and short arms?

Like can't even get his shoulder above the bar in a squatted sumo deadlift?

You guys watching the collegiate nationals?

Just done my first meet ever after ~8months of lifting.
Neato experience desu, even though I was by no means competitive and only outlifted two guys in my weight class.
165/100/180
sub-junior
Had a great time, broke prs on all the lifts. 10/10, would nearly finish last again.

/blogpost

You are now aware that Rafaello is in this thread RIGHT NOW.

Type "shoo shoo mentally ill hobbit" to get him to leave

if you have short arms the deadlift should be extremely difficult from the floor if you're lifting with a straight back. I would know because I have shitty DL proportions
just post a video of you deadlifting from the side where you stall at the knee with a straight back to prove me wrong
stop kidding yourself dude

shoo shoo mentally ill hobbit

hey we have a sub junior about to squat 250kilo @ 78kg BW

Ik, I've been lurking here ever since I started training.
I wish I had started lifting a little sooner desu.

yeah if only you started lifting at age 15 you also would be squatting 250kilo

He didn't make it :^(

Lmao

Well, even if that is the case - it really doesn't matter.
No matter what i do, the lift will always be a complete shit show with body parts in positions they should never be in etc.

...

oh that's really disappointing
what did he hit on his 2nd?

240kg

He's happy still. He weighed in pretty low too

I probably wouldn't, if that's your point.
But I could be lifting a lot more nonetheless is all I am saying.

While I'm here, does anybody have experience with the Bill Starr rehab protocol for lower back?

I think he suggests it for tears, not joints/bones

>tfw captain poutine would have been able to help you

Yeah thing is I have no clue if my issue is muscle belly related or not. The pain isn't deep nor do I get pain down my leg so I know it's not a disk issue.

It's better than spinning my wheels for 2 more months either way

What heppened to pooptine?

Have you tried McGills lower back stabilisation protocol?
I had year long lower back pain and that fixed it up in 2 months.

Is that the big 3 routine wit the camel humps and side planks?

he posted this then hasn't returned

seconding this, only thing that helped long term. Highly recommend it

lmao what a fucking cuck

It's supposed to help with core stabilization right? My core is weak af, I can pump out like 60-70 pushups but barely 25 situps

I had severe lower back pain from January 2016 through October, spent November and December running this

ahs.uwaterloo.ca/~mcgill/fitnessleadersguide.pdf

And I haven't had lower back issues since. I could have a degenerated disc and I'd be none the wiser

yeah I'm pretty sure if you google "stuart mcgill lower back protocol" you can find an excerpt from a study he did with info on why he selected the exercises and how to perform them properly.

I'll give it a shot and start my squat and deadlit at 1pl8 and LP back up so as to not re fuck my back up.I really want to compete before I shop late this year.

I appreciate it. How did you go about training sq/dl at the time of rehab?

what a faggot

I didn't squat and deadlift the first month, however the second month I just worked back up slowly from 100kg and in February I added 20kg to my deadlift through LP.

I also did and still do train spinal erectors a fair bit with exercises like SGDL and Back extensions. Whenever my back feels funny I throw on some straps, do a few SGDLs and I'm back to normal.

I didn't actually squat or deadlift during the initial portion of my rehab. Then I did light work and sort of followed a plan I read on the RTS website. It wasn't until my back was feeling fine that I started squatting and deadlifting again. Though my injury had me out for ~8 months so it might have been a more severe case.

Here's the link articles.reactivetrainingsystems.com/2016/04/13/sacroiliac-dysfunction-gainz-not-painz/

Kermy made his opener on bench (120kg)

Kermit btfo 125kg. 132kg nexGET HYPPPEEE

Didn't hit 132kg :^(

>People actually take Veeky Forums this seriously

vids?

Jesus, what a fucking faggot.

Day 1:
CGBP - 5x5 @ 75%
Push press - 3x3 @ 85%

Day 2:
Bench press - 5x5 @ 75%
DB Bench - 5x8 @ 65%

Day 3:
CGBP - 10x3 @ 75%
Overhead press - 10x3 @ 75%

Day 4:
Bench press - 10x3 @ 75%
DB Bench - DB Bench - 5x8 @ 65%

Look good?

How would you do this differently?

More specifity, more volume, more intensity

How much more volume?

Probably about 3 more volumes per set

Lol, I mean like, what's low volume in my plan and how can I improve it

Or better yet can you write me a program? I'm just trying to build some muscle temporarily before I can get back to PL

I would add some sets with 80% or more weight.

Sure

>what's low volume in my plan
all of it
>how can I improve it
AT LEAST 3 MORE VOLUMES PER SET. PER REP IF YOU REALLY WANT RESULTS

WAWTT or tomorrow?
Day 3 for me senpai

I've quit lifting. I hate it now.

trip on paul

Oddly enough...
