I personally started as skinnyfat and my biggest regret to this day is that I started bulking. I was already 20% bf literally no muscle (so still looked skelly) and then bulked "to get big" and I ended up 28% bodyfat fat as fuck and truthfully very little muscle because you can gain muscle only so fast as a natty.

Then I had to spend almost half a year to cut down and making literally no gains during that time.

I wish I had cut down to 10-12% when i started then SLOW, FUCKING SLOW AS A MOTHERFUCKER bulk till 15-16% bodyfat then cut again and repeat the process.

What would you say my bodyfat now is?

Probably 18-20%.

I'm not very heavy, only like 170lbs how can it be so high

You don't have any muscle. Almost all of the volume of your arms, torso, and legs is fat.

If you cut you'll look like a skeleton. Start lifting weights, start counting calories, and do a VERY slow bulk to harden up.
