Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

It's basically a comfy lvl1 dungeons and dragons story. It's Veeky Forums in regards to how they develop their skills through trial and error, gaining experience by persisting in their efforts to kill low lvl goblins and then move onto tougher foes.
It's not by any means a great show but I found their progress in the story to be somewhat motivating.

There's only 1 season thus far but it seems to be getting a second one (*knocks on wood*)

Also, (not to be a transophobe or anything) don't let the ultra faggot scare you away. He/she only appears in the first ep.

Watching Dragon Ball currently, even though it's before Goku is all pumped up and flying about, all the training and shit they do and with the Martial Arts Tournament being a bigger story point it gets me so pumped to go to the gym, I love it.

I've read the manga too
same shit, except there are a few scenes that werent in anime but they aren't that important, so it doesnt matter.
I think this whole "muh berserk manga is masterpiece, anime is shit" started when the new anime was annouced, because watching 2017 anime together with the majority of people is not cool, but reading manga is fucking edgy

The newest anime is pretty shit but I think the drawn scenes in the movie were amazing and the eclipse was portrayed amazingly.

Old anime is pretty good too just for the soundtrack.

The 90's adaptation is pretty great, but the biggest turn off is the fact it spoils the Eclipse right at the start, which is about the worst thing you could for an adaptation of the Golden Age arc, that's why I tell people to at least read the GA arc in the manga first.
