I used it this week for my upper body days. I don't really know why people are saying it's super dangerous. unracking is easy once you figure out how to do it (line the bar up with upper chest rather than your eyes, start movement off with your shoulders shrugged) and it makes typical bench guidelines like pressing the bar lower on your chest and keeping your elbows tucked much easier. also, the guy in OP's pic has way too narrow of a grip.

how are you guys getting the bar anywhere near your neck throughout this movement? you unrack it past your neck and you press it near your upper abdomen. the only place I could see this being an issue is reracking, but even there I don't see how you are in any more danger than with regular bench. if anything you're more likely to drop the bar on your neck with regular bench than reverse grip.
