Title. I live in a bad neighborhood and the only gym nearby is a planetfitness.
It was (kinda) perfect, I can go on my way to work in the morning, or when I'm coming back from work. Thing is, it got shot up a couple days ago. I don't feel safe going there anymore, and there are no nearby gyms. I do not own a car so just "going to a further one" isn't an option.
What do I do? Risk my gains or risk my life? What would you do?

Average outside of city center rental prices are around 1200/month. I make just over that in 3 weeks, and is therefore not feasable without a roomate. With a roomate, that's still expensive considering I'm saving for uni, where I still have to pay for res.
