Why do I have too be so smart but so weak

i like progress brother
it's fun to watch your numbers go up
have you ever played a video game before

Use your superior intellect to manipulate people and engineer circumstances for your own ends.

I mean, you did put at least a couple of points into CHA, right?

You're well on your way to unlock the "die alone" ending. Sad ending so prepare yourself senpai

i've played more videogames in a summer than you have in your entire life

are the other endings DLC?

that's pretty cool i guess
so you know what i'm talking about
fun

Been training all the runescape skills. Going to kill myself once I feel I've reached 99 in all of them. Cooking and strength have been coming a long niceley. Probably about level 60 cooking but 30 strength. Been stealing chicken wings from work and eating for free when I can to increase the value of my bank and get some good Thieving XP. Agility is a bitch to train cause I haven't found the spots in my area. Think there is a climbing gym so I can grind some XP there. Started the fishing skill, spots are pretty spread out in my state and the spots take some agility to get to. There's a pipe shortcut I've recently leveled agility enough to use. About to start farming too. Once I build my bank I'm gonna start construction and build a home gym and maybe some furniture.

This guy just needs to hang out with smarter people and stop over thinking.

It's very hard for a person with 120iq to have a deep conversation with a person of around 85

no woodcutting tho bitch have fun buying these yews

id have to go to a lumber yard in bum fuck no where to train that. I'll just buy it from the GE.

i dont know if thats something to be proud of bro

So.
STRength = lifts
DEXterity = calisthenics movements(which up to a point can be used for strength as well)
ENDurance = strength/muscle endurance
STAmina = aerobic endruance

Anything else?

what does grind mean in this context. post unironic reply or else thx.

when I see that word I think kickflip backside 5050 in tony hawk's pro skater - "so look into my eyes, don't ask me why, I wanna play Tony Hawk nigga, skate or die!"

Dex is speed, coordination, mobility and fle'ibility. Not your bullshit strength movements.

Grind = putting in a lot of time or effort into doing the same, repetitive tasks over and over for a minimal gain that eventually compounds into noticeable gain. Generally things that you grind are unable to be completed in any short amount of time, otherwise it's not a real grind or it's a short grind.

real talk, if you read books you should keep it a secret.

Yeah, so...you're fucking retarded and don't know what dexterity or calisthenics means.

And I'm pretty sure you completely lack the former and have never done the latter even by accident.

>"I'm a big reader too, user! Do you like Harry Potter?"
You make a good point, because I'm fucking sick of hearing that.

thx senpai

found basically the same explanation on urban dictionary:
Gaming reference. Repeatedly performing an action/event to attain an item. Most commonly used when referring to an RPG (Role Playing Game), i.e. World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy, etc.
"This sucks. I wasted an entire night grinding for experience, and I only leveled up twice! At least I got some decent gear."

t. non-gamer

>that's pretty cool i guess
massive kek

what's an okay normie hobby?

>weight lifting
eww insecure much?
>reading
you don't actually do that do you?
>martial arts
gross who fights
>spend time on the internet
LOL what you don't have a life?
>playing video games
God what a nerd

I think the only exceptable hobbies right now is partying and watching netflix or TV

>martial arts
To be fair, MMA is normie as fuck now.

Hiking, kayaking, fishing are hip and cool with the normies. And maybe some niche craft that makes you seem interesting like smithing or woodworking.

However, don't do that shit to impress people do it because it's fun. People can smell it when people do that shit.

I've felt like this way too often, but I've also tried to never fall into this mindset.
Not because I think it's wrong, but because I just don't want to be one of the countless sheep who think they're the only sentient being, with everyone around them thinking the same.

I was recently at a friend's party, he got his degree, like many of the others who'd attend, and I dreaded to think of the conversations I'd have to endure, with them having graduated and becoming doctors/engineers and me being a loser at home.
Instead, it was the opposite.
We hadn't seen eachother in years, and yet they had nothing to say, nothing to tell.
Years of events, study, encounters, and yet, absolutely nothing to carry the conversation with, while I, a fucking loser who gets out on a less than weekly basis, dominated the conversation with talks of my freelance oddjobs on the internet, my progress with teaching myself languages, and even my pitiful progress with the same course of study we followed.

I had more to say about NOT going to class, than they had about going to it for years on end.
I just don't know.
I'm not remarkable nor smart in any way, it doesn't feel like I have the "right" to feel like I'm some sort of enlightened being when I have absolutely nothing tangible to show for it.
And yet so many people feel like they're barely living.

t. a sheep

Floride

What really happened to pic related:

>hey so what about those fucking niggers heh
>uh john not again please, my girlfriend is here
>proceed to posting on /pol/ that everyone is an NPC

Nobody will laugh at you for reading you retard

>anyone who's not as le red pilled as I the superior being is not even a human being with individual thoughts

grow up

I just realised OP has autism

>mfw im a human in real life

Okay, you got me there bud

8/10 nice effort
Also could you share some cooking skills? College student trying to get that protein in cheap and fast (doesn't take too long to cook)

Watching probably is but all any of them know is mcgoober.

>passing remark to the word "redpill"
>triggered sheep instantly froth at the mouth at the possibility of a /pol/ correlation
>ignore 40 lines of text because of a single word

Yeah, the world is full of barely functioning people

The diminishing returns on leveling in this game sucks.
>Decide to start grinding STR
>Get to 7 STR within months
>It takes two years to get to 8 STR
>I didn't realize I needed a perk for my STR to replace my CHA score in conversations
>Tfw 3 CHA

Yeah, probably.
I mean, no matter how much I feel like this, at the end of the day they have a tangible proof of success, while I don't.
Some abstract concept of being "woke" isn't worth anything when it's completely fruitless and you're the only one who sees it.

Sometimes I listen to chiptune while lifting and imagine i'm leveling up

The other day my friend and I were talking about how cool it would be if exercise clothes actually give you stat boosts, but you'd have to completely a quest (which would be a workout program) in order to have access to the clothes.

For example, these lifting shoes give you +40 strength on your squat but you have to complete SS in order to get them.

kek
that's all true

I feel you man, also this
>Game has limited play time per character wtf
>Try to get as many honors and achievements
>Notification keeps blinking
>"SLEEP REQUIRED"
>it turns out you need to spend 33% of the game OFFLINE while the TIMER IS STILL RUNNING or you get ~50% debuffs on everything you do
Who the fuck designed this, im punished for playing

Lmao. I have a related tidbit. I had a job interview a couple weeks ago and i got the question what i do in my spare time, i told the guy "I mostly read a lot of different books". And the interviewer just looked at me, as if he expected me to say something else. It was like he didn't accept that as a legitimate way to spend your free time, or something. He had a very "asking" facial expression, but i'd already answered his question. It creeped me out.

I've never heard of or seen anyone being made fun of for any of those.
I'm a collegefag though, so it might depend on your age I guess

>exceptable
Exactly.
Because drinking and watching tv are not fucking hobbies.

>>I didn't realize I needed a perk for my STR to replace my CHA score in conversations
it's called (FACE)
try to get it next time you level up mang

I know that the fashionable thing here is hate reddit, but seriously, they way everyone is talking i this thread....go checkout r/outside.

They compare life to an rpg and its really interesting to watch those people come to understandings in their lives when comparing life to video games.

>inb4 hhuurr leddit faggot FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FAGGOT

im serious. Some of it is really good

>Hiking, kayaking, fishing
Maybe if you're over 30.

no one will make fun of you for reading unless they're insanely stupid and arrogant, in which case they'd be horrible to be around anyway. Martial arts is okay if you don't pretend like it's important.

good hobbies are where you're actively doing new things. Weightlifting is repetitive, internet and video games are passive. Go for hikes, take up cooking, travel, etc. As long as you're always doing something new and you're active.

Who the fuck created the idea that traveling or hiking is a superior hobby to others?
What the fuck?

endurance fags who hate looking good.

kek'd

>managed to bang this cougar yesterday
>dat ass
>hitting it from the back, catch my reflection in the mirror pounding her pudding
>have a Christian Bale moment and mire my shoulder and traps progress
>beginning to have trouble focusing on the blessings I was given, not earned
>switch positions so I can't mire anymore

On the way back home I realized I may never see a NipCougarBooty like that again. Feelsbadman.jpg

>Be at a bar with somewhat normie friends
>so like, I was sitting next to this guy and he was HUGE, but it turns out he was like, 16! and the worst thing is that he thought we were on a date!
>Oh actually, you wanna know what the worst thing REALLY was? I asked him what hobbies he had and he said "Oh, I go to the gym a lot". UGHHHH

you're just missing combat

>Game chooses race and starting zone automatically
>Spawn in as Mediteranean class
>manlet debuff from the get go and no perks that go with it
>starting zone is shit and the trading is fucked

Anybody else stoked for that war with Korea DLC?

I hear it's dropping soon.

>45
>fat

How low are your standards?

What's the best skillset and martial skill line for manlet players? Trying to go for the optimal build

You have to be 30 to like fishing?

Art always gets normie attention and if you're good at it then you can not be a normie but still get normie respect.

should've gotten the lady killer perk

Where do I buy the gf DLC?

When will you realize that games are based off reality and not the other way around, you dumb fucks

>gets triggered like every other fag
>responds the same way like every other fag
Wew lad, are you sure you're not an NPC

>tfw we are all AI

The reason vidya is so addictive is because it tricks your brain into feeling like you accomplished something which gives you the same dopamine rush with almost none of the effort or risk of actually accomplishing something.

>tfw you wasted your youthful energy grinding vidya stats in your mom's basement instead of bettering your mind and body and having sexual conquests

you mean to tell me that all my time of catching pokemon and jumping on goombas, turtles, and eating mushrooms is something I wanted to do my whole life?

aka people enjoy things that are fun.
Stop jerking it over dopamine everything you enjoy releases it.

You're missing the point. Limited playtime forces specialisation, it stops you switching classes and makes the play pick a direction and a path within the game. Best RPG ever.

post cheat codes pls

What world does this guy live in? Some of the smartest people I know also happen to be ultimate normalfags. 9/10 times, the Anons who post this kinda shit are spergs without any formal education, who claim they're "smart but lazy", or "school just isn't a place for truly smart people". Even the way this guy writes suggests that he's nothing more than mediocre.

>I wasn't adding the bar's weight to my recording of exercises
>lifting 20kgs more than I thought I was

whew

>life is a game

congratulations you fucking mug, did you just now realize this?
Did you not sooner come to the conclusion that our lives are laid out in the exact ways a game is? That from childhood we learn to interact with each other through games and that this essentially never ends, relationships and all social interactions are riddled with these rules and the people who do the best get more resources.

thats called being an autist. Being unable to sympathise with less intelligent people or simply people with other interests. This is really sad :( I can imagine that his vieuws make him feel really empty

pic related it's most of the people who contributed to that

Is life based on a game?
Or are games based on life?

>tfw no rock quarries close by to mine
>tfw no anvil house to smith in
>tfw no women to slay their virginities

Intelligence is nothing without ambition.

People that achieve a lot in life are those with natural present ambition.
Much more than those that are just "intelligent" but have no drive to put work into anything.

I feel like many people don't understand the term intelligence or haven't thought it through.
There are so many things that add up to intelligence, so many different kinds of intelligence one can have, etc.
That most people speak of is probably analytical intelligence, but that is only a fraction of so many, so it's really not worth that much.

But it kind of supports the point that really "intelligent" peolple can still be failures when it comes to education. They just lack too hard in the discipline/ambition department.

This is not strictly true, somebody with below average IQ is going to struggle making it through more taxing higher education no matter how ambitious they are.

If I remember correctly IQ and industriousness were about equal indicators of success, but industriousness is less concrete as it is based a lot on self reporting and it is difficult to test for.

Note that IQ does not necessarily equate intelligence but it has a very strong correlation with intellectual success in life.

But when you consider that people actually study for an IQ test...it sort of mucks things up.

Right, I never claimed it made no difference where or not a person is intelligent or not.

What I meant is that someone with a high intelligence but no ambition or discipline will achieve way less in life than someone with average or below average intelligence but a very high amount of ambition and discipline.

The only thing that can save the intelligent guy is passion - because that won't require motivation.

Lmao nigga i ain't reading that shit

Buy shoes with heels. +1 length
Wear bulletproof vest under clothes. +2 protection

Hey user, how do I find out what my IQ is? I would like to know since I think it may explain a lot if things that I suck at.
Please answer.

You can't. The only tests we have produce meaningless results.

AFAIK they test the amount of grey matter you have? Or whatever.
Sure thing is, that we simply can't test it.

The fact is that most everyone tends to be 2 dimensional until you find that one thing they really love. So while you can engage in surface conversation (weather, basic sport stuff, relationships, ECT.) with near everyone you have to dig a little deeper to find out what they really care about. They might really like fly fishing or military history or knitting or whatever. Generally people have at least one thing they really like.

As much of a meme as it has become travelling is a very interesting hobby to most people. Especially if you have souvenirs and shit, and even more so if you go to places that not everybody goes. Nobody in my hometown would give a fuck if I took off for Germany for a week, since nearly everybody goes there, but there are a lot of places that most people would find interesting. It's somewhat expensive, but honestly not as bad as you might think. Besides, you might find you enjoy seeing life around the world.

Completely untrue, we can test IQ very accurately, but what IQ actually tests is harder to define, what we do know is that IQ correlates with other factors, such as well being, life length, wealth and how well you perform in academia.

Within psychology it is actually the most reliable indicator of well being. Statistically you will be better off at fifty with higher IQ than if your parents were wealthy.

this yo

Right, what is defined as IQ can be measured.

But that has almost no meaning towards how intelligent someone is. That is what I am getting at.

When I was a kid my mom had such a test done with all of us, as some shitty school psychologist had told her that my brother is a retard and needs to visit a special needs school (because he supposedly sucked at drawing houses).
Mine apparently came out as 142.

What is this value supposed to mean in regards to intelligence? Literally nothing.

If it is as you say then it seems to be more of a medical thing than anything else. Like having your blood levels analyzed.

But IQ objectively correlates with a lot of areas of life, if you want to throw IQ out of the window you can literally throw out all of psychology as it is a cornerstone of which other psychological theories are compared to. It is a statistical indicator of how you will perform.

But as you say intelligence is not as tangible and more abstract of a concept.
