I don't think there are any real pros to waking up early if you are good at managing time. I for myself am very bad at doing anything productive past 8PM so it doesn't matter whether I fall asleep at 10PM or during the small hours. So by waking up early I create more productive time for myself.

As a farmer I have to wake up early so that i can get my work done while i have sunlight cleared about an acre of land today to make room to build some nice green houses

I wake up at 5am right now because my bus drives at 6 and I'll have to be at work at 7.
When I start university later this year I'll be used to waking up early and can comfortably wake up between 5am and 6am, even if lecture doesn't start until 11am or so.
I used to be the kind of person who slept as long as possible. School starts at 10:30? Sleep until 9:30. All the hours I wasted with sleep that made me feel more wasted too...

It's far better to go to bed later and wake up on time than it is to go to bed on time and wake up early, for testosterone and LH

Man I really struggle with this. I don't have to be up at a specific time to work so it's up to me. Today I slept until 11, showered and had breakfast and then fell back asleep for another hour and then went to work.
When I actually need to get up in the morning I'm up at 7am.
