Genetics, my dad was a d1 linebacker. My mom was a college heptathlete. When I can be bothered to get off my lazy ass, I have massive noob gains and get shredded in crazy short amounts of time. It's 100% not fair. But some of us just got lucky.

if you start lifting while overweight, you already have pretty strong leg muscles.

I went from 220 to 180 and I could squat 3pl8 within a year of me starting lifting.

Hit 2pl8 bench in under six months but didn't make 3pl8 squat until 14 months. Fuck squats.

Bait but i was at 135lbs bw and 95 lbs squat to start and am not at 160 with 280 after 6 months. Definitely will hit 3pl8 before 1 year. Probably benching 2 pl8 will be most difficult out of the 1234 lifts
