That's cool. I took a web design class this year with no knowledge of coding. Just finished leaning basic HTML, it's pretty cool to do.

I dislike people, for the most part. Hobbies give me an excuse to be social, but on my own terms, i.e. if I invite people over for dinner/drinks, I have an excuse to dictate a good amount of the social setting. Helps to minimize bullshit.

How are you learning different languages

Trying to simulate immersion as much as possible.

I listen to audiobooks while doing cardio anyway, so I'll put on a simple language tutorial audiobook and let it run.

When I was learning Spanish I'd go to local restaurants that I knew were super old-school, and try and only use Spanish while there.

Listen to foreign music.

Watch foreign films.

Basically find ways to force yourself into using the language daily, or you'll lose it. Friends who were raised bilingual or polylingual are invaluable, and it's fun to be able to speak privately even when you're in public.

I have 2 games a week; one Sunday morning and one Thursday night. Both with my main group, I run the Thursday night one. We've been a group for 5yrs now.
