Accutane

Does anyone have any experience with using accutane if you lift?

I read that accutane can give you joint pain and you're not supposed to lift heavy while using it.

Any thoughts?
Should I just go for accutane? My skin is fucking terrible and I've tried a lot of shit and it doesn't get better.

(Yes, I tried changing my pillowcase everyday and drinking a lot of water and a ton of different topic treatments)

bump

Fuck you hello r*to

i did it for a while last summer, i had to stop because my liver levels where 3x the upper limit. I still have acne on my back and face, although not nearly as bad. My back is pretty scarred up now though. I was not lifting at the time but working manual labour, i felt no difference in strength or joints

Did it in highschool, played Varsity basketball while on it. Made my knees ache like crazy. Pain I haven't felt since then.

Also like a year after going off it I was suddenly clinically depressed and ended up on prozac. (Which then killed my dick while on it) Since then I'm doctor prescribed drug free and would never ever take either of those ever again

Drugs are a meme

Hello rat

currently on prozac (2 a day actually) and dick works perfectly fine

hello rato!

Fuck off Cruise.

Cool, now start slowly going off of your medication and meditate more. You don't need that BS. Watch for brain zaps

hello I say to rato

fuck anti-spam shit

On my 4th month now, backne has cleared up nice and the face has never looked so good, minus a red hue that goes away after you get off, joint pain wasn my biggest fear too but I havent really felt any, the dry lips and dry skin are the real kickers, you better pack a 24 of water and a tub of vaseline wherever you go. Sounds like you ve tried a lot of shit so you should probably bite the bullet and do acutane, it ll be shitty but think how sweet it ll be to look average, glood luck boi

Hallo Rote

i took accutane in highschoool and i lefted erryday
it cleared up my acne like a god and gave me nice skin but it can fuck with your emotions and it can do this weird thing where it makes your hair follicules grow two hairs instead of one
i have this as an after effect from years ago i can post pics if you want

Was put on a 6month cycle and only lasted 2 pills (2days) it gave some liquid swelling in my skull.

Hello rat

hello rato

My 6-month cycle will be ending mid-june. Overall I would definitely say that its worth it, just cause I can now look in the mirror and hate myself like 75% less than before. Mentally I've been feeling good, but there were like 2 periods of month long soul-crushing depression, but I'm not sure if that was the accutane or just me being a little bitch at school.

What's up my rat nigga

This is not spam dammit
hello rato!

hello ratto

I got tendinitis in my Achilles when I took it in high school, though I probably just wasn't drinking enough water. Went away after a few weeks.

hello rato
YEET

Finished it a while back.
>Worked well, very little acne now
>had cystic shit

Does Not:
Make you depressed

Does:
Gets rid of acne
Makes you ache
Dries the fuck out your lips and everywhere (get curel and chapstick)

The biggest downside is your lips never really go back to being like they were. My mom had acutane a while back and she mentioned how she never got back to her body being less dry than 'normal'.

Tl;dr do it if you need it

I took Accutane and now my hairs do that sometimes wtf

8 months prescribed by specialist. Did it when I was 19. Best thing ive ever done for my self confidence. Went from cystic acne all over my face to nothing. Depression is a meme. Dry lips etc.. is real. Just lip balm, drink water and get regular blood tests for your liver. Good luck and enjoy not big fucking ugly once you're done.

was on it at age 17 for about 9 months.

I think the dose they put me on was too high...

Years later i used it again on a small dose (like 2 pills per week) and i got the best of both worlds ie.. skin cleared up but wasn't nearly as dry....

One strange thing to note:

While i was on it my hair thickened up quite a bit and then about 6 months after i finished the treatment, i had a massive shed of hairs...

I then started receding and thinning on top...
Now i don't know if the accutane kick started my premature balding, or if it was preventing me from thinning out while on the medication...

Interestingly i started finasteride at age 20 and am now 32 and still have most of my hair. No side effects.

hello rat

hello rat

There's a good chance that would have happened to you guys eventually. Most hairy people have that if you look closely at their hair.

sup rato

already balding at 19 fuck you rato

I used accutane 5-6 months, got the same advice from my doctor that i shouldn't work out. Did it anyways cause who wants to go that long without a workout? It was fine, the only trouble i noticed was that my shoulder ached when i did dips, so i stopped doing that exercise. You really should start accutane as soon as you can to prevent scarring. I wish i did it sooner.

Fuck you rato I'm already balding

fuck you varg

hello rato

My granda has gud hair pls no bald pls
