While a decent vegan diet surely is a better / healthier dietary option than your average American or European diet, it sucks for a multitude of reasons (gf is vegan, plenty of experience here, tried it myself too)

I eat more than 400 calories

I've done it for 6 months in the past. I was having stomach issues and wanted to see if it alleviated them. I felt good, had good endurance, felt wide awake and light on my feet, but weak af. All my numbers dropped. Stomach problems improved, and I still do it now and again if I feel them flare up, but no intention of making a permanent change. I give zero fucks about killing animals for food. I care about how they're reared, because that affects the quality of the meat and what I'm putting into my own body in terms of chems, but I have no moral compunction whatsoever with killing them, whether to eat or for sport.
Just like I don't care whether you live or die. Your death would make no discernible difference to my life or the lives of the people I care about. I don't believe in any such thing as humanity or a higher purpose, so I definitely don't believe in some cosmic fraternity with the animal kingdom.

I did. Tried it for four months and then again for 2 weeks. Way too restrictive for me. Was always thinking about eating meat, couldn't eat out with friends, couldn't drink anything outside.

I bulk on 4500 calories with a fairly high protein content. Even with all kinds of legumes and nuts and seeds, which technically aren't even vegetables in the sense of your pic, I would still rupture my stomach trying to fit that all in before I even reached my daily goal kek

I grew up in a rural community. I used to help out on nearby farms. I've killed a lot of animals, mostly for meat or mercy. Shot a fuckload of deer for the delicious venison, but also because it's fun, and because we have no wolves left to control their population and they would otherwise destroy all the vegetation in the area.

Starch causes an insulin spike which tells your body to store fat, so I would recommend it sparingly. I usually get most of my carbs from fruits in vegetables. I would never recommend wheat products though.

there are some problems. I consume ~1/2 a cup a day. it puts alot of stress on your digestive system

also, a whole cup would probably put you way above your tdee. youre not a powerlifter on gear. youd get fat and have all the side effects of that

well what are reasonable amounts? 1/2 a cup? I'm not technically underweight but I gain weight pretty fast when I try and exert myself on eating. It's pretty hard tho for lack of calorie dense food. I started eating peanut butter and granola but I'd like to supplement some more.
