This is a blessing in disguise

>give president extra icecream
>destroy health care for diabetics
Is this some sort of regicide?

There's no disguise

Thats kind of fucked.

Does this apply to type 1 diabetes as well?

What about type 1 non fatty diabetics?

What exactly does "deserve health insurance" mean? If you take someone who has a known health condition that will 100% cost the insurer $10000 and mandate by law that he has to pay no more $1000 for the insurance, who do you think covers the difference? Hint: it sure as fuark doesn't come from insurer's pocket, dumbass.

Even the kids? That's fucked up. Only in america.

Why is european healthcare as effective as american yet costs much more less?

This is fucking dumb. I know quite a few skinny people with diabetes. Some are even in good shape. We should have a bf% test for diabetics that want to get on the doll. It's never gonna happen but if it does I'd be happy.

Define as effective.

as long as it's type 2, this is fine.

Why are the best hospitals in America?

ITT: fat yuroshits who can't imagine a life without gibs

>35th in the world
>best
Even a shithole like Cuba was able to come up with a lung cancer vaccine.

Rather similar death rates, life expectancies, survival rates, etc

That's the thing America has the best but only available to the elite. You gotta take care of your whole population as a country.

You'll be using a very very broad definition of hospital and best there. Many hospitals all around the world outperform US hospitals. And if you mean places like the Mayo Clinic, it's really three or four different hospitals with insanely high staff turnover rates, more like a venue than anything.

All that aside, having a couple of amazing hospitals doesn't ever make up for thousands upon thousands of shit ones. Look at the statistics.

Ah yes, glad that the president is making these kinds of hard decisions, being of superior genetic makeup and all

T H I C C

As long as it only applies to fatties then this is awesome

Wow triggered a lot of europoors here. 1st result from google search

hospitals.webometrics.info/en/world

>I found le American website and it clearly says USA USA
You might also want to look at where those doctors that work in those places were trained btw.

That's pretty cool.

Sucks about the people with the kind of diabetes you get from... whatever the fuck, but who aren't fat at least.

he has insurance and a fuckton of money, it's not as if the general public has to pay for the health problems arising from his poor lifestyle choices

HAHAHAHAHA
You know he's completely right

>mostly preventable
>easy to manage
>easy to control with diet (both type 1 and type 2)
fatties btfo

I would like this in my country as well.

Fat fucks need to understand it's their own fault and choice and they are a burden on society.

There should be a variable discount based on FFMI and BF%.

>you should adhere to my billionaire standards in taking care of myself
>what, you can't? lol fuck off

is Veeky Forums just naturally stupid or is it that it's been invaded by /pol/ like a ton of other boards?

Fuuuuuck you. Thee reason the life expectancies are the same is so many europeans come to free markets to get their procedures done, fag

USA has the best healthcare in the world period. Only reason why life expectancy lower is because Americans are fat, like to shoot guns and drive cars.

>top UK position is 67
>it's a countywide trust made up of over 100 hospitals and clinics
nhs.uk/Services/Trusts/HospitalsAndClinics/DefaultView.aspx?id=2491
>they don't even treat the Mayo Clinic as a single hospital
Way to inflate numbers Amerifats.

only the fat people(lol) diabetes.

I assume you don't live in west europe.
I know many people that didn't get any help from docs, so they treat themselves either with drugs or go easteurope for treatment.
A tire hit my back and pushed part of my spine out, the doctors didn't even want to treat me and it took 6months for me to get physiotherapy.
Till then I got a fitness-membership trained and used drugs from east europe that repaired my spine. All these drugs did cost me thousands of euros.

Britain. Proud to be the 67th best

>American website

The "Ranking Web of World Hospitals" is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain

kek

I would love to meet the Amerifat in charge of massaging the numbers by dividing shit up into small enough chunks. As an example, the Mayo clinic health system ranks 936. There is one site, the Arizona site in Scotsdale, that ranks third when placed on its own.

>eat food
>get diabetes

>smoke tobacco
>get lung cancer

How are these any different?

that would be fucking awesome if this happened. Let the fat fucks rot as they destroy their bodies.

Should only be covered if you're born with it. Same with other lifestyle diseases and illnesses that go along with it like atherosclerosis, HTN, hyperlipidemia, etc.

force people to fend for themselves and maybe americans wont be so unhealthy.

See
Learn to read eurotards lol.

No, I just work in healthcare and I'm tired of putting up with these whiny cunts and their shit, the latter of which These twats need to have their premiums hiked 200% or welfare cut off if they're so poor they don't have to pay premiums, I'm so tired of putting up with their shit.is totally preventable and costs my country's publicly funded healthcare system a fuckwad in easily avoidable expenses. Did I mention they're whiny cunts and always lash out at us like petulant fucking children whenever we try to help them out?
>b-but the doctor doesn't know anything
>MUH HEALTHY AT EVY SIZE U MISO GYNIS
>STOP TELLING ME HOW TO LIVE ME LIFE SHITLORD

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HIKE THEIR PREMIUMS, DO IT NOW

it comes from everyone else in the pool? What are you even trying to argue here? I dont understand your position

less racial diversity for one. So less violent culture and no nignogs bringing down the average.

Secondly, larger governments tend to be more inefficient as a rule. America is huge. Wherever you live in fuckislavia is not.

The CSIC just collate information received from elsewhere, i.e. the American hospitals have actively divided their shit up to get higher numbers.

Because it's not. Don't believe the hype. Rich people from other countries still sneak in here to buy treatment they can't get for free back home.

DM2 isn't purely brought on by unhealthy lifestyle. I used to be called "old man's diabetes" because a lot of old people developed the disease because of age related issues. But in recent years everyone consumes so much garbage sugar that the pancreas takes 60 years of abuse in a decade.

Oh thank god its actually happening. I've been waiting so long for this. It's actually habbening guys. The fatties are finally being treated as the risks that they are. When it comes to health insurance, fatties are more of a risk than smokers but have never been treated as such. Its time to see some serious drops in the price of health insurance (if all goes well).

>must be a conspiracy man

The socialist propaganda is melting your mind

What if you have type 1 and type 2?

I had type 1 but made it so much worse...

>don't see one person who who identified this as the BS it is
>Just read a thread arguing how the chan is full of smart people

>BBC investigators linked the Roger Curry of the yearbook to a burnt-out house in an affluent suburb of Los Angeles.
Well off Americans sneak over to Europe you mean.

theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/jan/30/wife-son-dumped-roger-curry-dementia-uk-car-park

Trump is president. That means he's a big guy. As a Big guy he needs to eat big. You only get big by eating big. Thus the president needs to eat big.

This is civics 101

>I used to be called "old man's diabetes" because a lot of old people were fatasses who didn't do shit because they were old

Is it possible to be genetically predisposed to Diabetes? If it is, then that's fucked yo!

Healthcare is not a right. By definition, if someone else has to provide a thing for you, then it is a privilege, not a right.

There's a word for people who have the "right" to other people's work: Royalty. Fortunately, that's not a thing in America.

You're saying GUNS are not a RIGHT?

Do you hate freedom?

>Healthcare is not a right. By definition, if someone else has to provide a thing for you, then it is a privilege, not a right.
So there are no right at all in this world.

I have the right to own a gun.

That doesn't mean anybody else is obligated to make me one for free.

Do you understand the difference?

You can make your own firearms.

A right is something no one can rightfully take. Right are not given. Rights as defined in the US Constitution are things the government cannot take away. They are not things the government must give you. Not that anyone gives a shit about rights anymore unless muh feelings are involved.

You have the right to bear arms, you do not have the right to free guns. See the difference?

Ah, the problem you have there is the hippocratic oath. A doctor is obliged to give you their work product if you are in need regardless of pretty much anything else. So even if you do not have a right to healthcare but you can have access to it, the distinction becomes moot.

Well, no. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

If you read the Bill of Rights, it's not a list of things the government has to GIVE you. It's a list of things the government can't TAKE from you. A subtle, but extremely important difference.

...

A right is something inalienable that exists in nature but must be protected by the government to insure that they're being honored. For example, humans have the right to arm themselves, and have had that right since cave painting days. However, healthcare is provided by a private company, and exists on a very delicate balance of risk and rewards. People have the right to be as lazy and fat as they want, it doesn't mean private health insurers have to cover their risky asses.

A doctor's oath is a personal commitment consciously made by the individual making said oath. Not a right. The distinction is far from moot.

FUCK OFF BACK TO /POL/

REPORT ALL POLITICAL THREADS

People can choose to be a doctor. People can choose to stop being a doctor as well.

If healthcare is a "right", then the above poses a serious problem. What if there aren't enough doctors? Can / should society pass laws saying doctors aren't allowed to quit or retire? If so, you're basically saying THEY have no rights.

A doctor has the obligation to provide it, but that doesn't mean a private health insurer has to pay for it. Private insurers don't owe you anything. They're companies. Does Kellogg owe you anything just for existing? Does McDonald's?

hippocratic oath means do no harm. it does not mean you MUST provide care.

That is why we have good samaritan laws and liability insurance

Doing nothing is not causing harm

There is no obvious difference between the outcomes. Also the hippocratic oath is not personal.

>hippocratic oath means do no harm. it does not mean you MUST provide care.
It does mean that you must provide care. You shouldn't be doing harm anyway ding dong.

Now I understand why Europe can't have guns. Because any kid forced to watch that much boring soccer would shoot himself in the face

It's not legally binding, so it doesn't matter.

read

no. You can turn away any patients if you are part of a private practice. Capitation exists, private client-MD relationships exist. If a patient has a diagnosis outside of your scope of expertise you are obligated NOT to intervene.

I choose who I see and when on a daily basis, and choose how much treatment to provide regardless of their want.

>Marriage vows aren't personal
>Eating healthy and working out provides no obvious difference in the outcome vs eating shit, binge drinking, chain smoking and never moving because you will die either way.

Not sure if you are a troll or genuinely retarded.

Nobody deserves health insurance. It's a business and a gamble and you have to pay for it. This is something all the shit head hippies don't understand. You can't just make everything you like into a government service. All that does is remake it in a new form that sucks balls. Governments need to get out of insurance except to ensure that they don't form monopolies, which is what we have now.

>That's the thing America has the best but only available to the elite. You gotta take care of your whole population as a country.

No we fucking don't. I'm paying for me, my kids, my wife and maybe a few other people I like. The rest of you can get the fuck off my lawn and find a job where you're actually useful and you can't be replaced by a machine or someone who doesn't speak english.

Report all nonfitness related threads

>only available to the elite

You mean only available to the employed or not human garbage right?

I think the oath thing is bullshit. People who can't pay for the goods/services should die.

Obesity is fitness related

This pic isn't even inaccurate.

Hitler used to be awake until 4am and eat his favourite cake every night, before going to bed.

How do you explain the fact that most first world countries have some form of universal health insurance? The private sector can still be active, but I feel like everyone should at least be able to go to a hospital without being butt fucked by bills.

You could probably make your situation better though through lifestyle change. I'm T1 only but for example I was injecting a basal of 30u Lantus, I started exercising and its reduced down to 20u. You can decrease that insulin resistance you've brought upon yourself.

Is he talking about type 2 diabetics or are the type 1 just as unfortunate?

>Cost much less

We pay more taxes than burgers to afford it

type 2 only i believe.

Go to medical school, and do all pro Bono work then.

>stay up until 4 am
>eat cake every night before going to bed

check mate atheists.

>fatties indulge in gluttony
>get diabetes
>can't afford treatment
>demand healthy people who didn't indulge in gluttony pay for their expenses

modern welfare systems are a fucking perversion. they punish responsibility, they reward retardation, they do damage to decent people and they benefit the useless dregs of society.
this shit should be dismantled completely.

what a pathetic response to his answer

yess

yessssssssssss

DIE YOU USELESS PATHETIC FAT CUNTS

>top 10 medical schools
>7 are American

You're mentally retarded.

>genes are a privilege
>mother's milk and nutrients is a privilege
>existence is a privilege

suicide is the only option

Not the user you are responding to but that's like saying everyone deserves insert x without having to pay as much as its worth.
Also most other first world countries pay a significantly higher amount in taxes percentage wise.

Is that for Type 1 or Type 2? Because the only reason people have Type 2 diabetes is because they're fatties. Type 1s don't deserve to be mistreated for what they were born with.

Type 2 diabetic fatties don't deserve taxpayer funded healthcare

fuck fatties
