>Your country

>Your best 2k time

>crossfit

I don't check my distances I just row for 10 mins before I lift and 5 after.

Piss off huge jacked man..
We get it you row!
Just because you gave up being Wolverine doesn't mean you can come around fit and bully us non rowers.

USA

6:19.2

>implying

Good shit. I started rowing again recently, got 6:53. I want that down to 6:35 by November.

its shit.. the fucking things that hold ur boots actually fucked up mine. never agian. fuck.

I did 6:59 when i was 15 and I was actually rowing

Crossfit is so stupid holy shit. It's people watching a competition of people using a training tool used to prepare for other competitions. Reeeeeee crossfags get out

> America
> 6:29 at age 17
I'm 18 now, if I continued rowing I could get close to 5:55

Because I'm on steroids lol. 6:29 was natty tho.
OP, you DID post a picture of a xfitter

> be me
> be in high school (years ago)
> go to Midwest rowing championships
> get placed in the 2v despite being the best athlete on the team
> we lose to a boat stroked by a fucking cripple
> thats right, their stroke seat DIDNT HAVE A LEG
> I quit rowing
> my team is now complete shit

Bonus points if you can guess which team I was on

I row with a guy with one leg, he still pulls pretty respectable splits. Quite often he leaves his 'flexible foot' leg in the ergo footstrap while he hops off to take a piss or refill his water bottle.

Is 16 a good age to start rowing?

My little brother is thinking about it and I really want him to give it a try.
He's 6'4 205lbs at 16 years old and I seriously think he has potential. Also has huge legs.

yes. he has alot of potential.

sign him up, he could get a scholarship to a uni if he worked hard

Uk
6:03

Have some international experience too, but my rowing days are behind me.
I doubt I could pull 6:20 now.

16 is better than 17.. I was rowing since I was 13, and most competitive rowers likewise learned in school

>that genuinely attrocious form

UK

7:16 when I was a fat piece of shit.

I do 30 min rowing now, just passed 7km at an average of 2:07/500m.

Is that Justin Trudeau????

I rowed lightweight in high school, broke 6:35 once. Before I threw my back out that is.

tfw you'll never row in that one 4+ with your best buds and haul past the V8 in a off-the-cusp race
