Say you take a year to cut and lose weight. Lift meanwhile to get some strength, muscle and technique. Then once you're somewhat skelly you can bulk and be big. We're all gonna make it.

I started kinda like you, ate for maintenance for about a year and made some strength gains, also improved my form.
Now I've been cutting, and while I'm not thin by Veeky Forums standard I think I look all right after ~35lbs lost and can start to bulk and gain strength.

My lifts are very bad right now I deadlift 205lbs, db bench press 55s, overheadpress 70lbs, chinups with 35lbs assisted. Squat 165lbs

~3 years. Although that is like 1/2 year of just weight loss with no weights, 1.5 years of on/off dicking around weight lifting, followed by 1 year of serious lifting/diet.

Did you not try to push yourself on some lifts? Your DL is good but the others are too low in proportion.

I do push myself but I literally can't lift the weight. You don't know how bad it feels to fail a 75lbs overhead press two workouts in a row. Or have to drop 60lb dumbbells because can't lift them

You just have to make a choice then. Either cut and keep being weak for months, or bulk and keep being fat for months. But the end result is the same if you keep at it, it just takes long.
