Can anyone suggest some solid literature to motivate a lifting lifestyle?
I used to lift to let off steam from shit that pissed me off. But now I'm quite comfy and shit doesn't upset me anymore. And I've lost all narcissism and competitiveness along the way. And lifting for grills just isn't enough. Meaning I need to get motivation from the inside somehow. But I feel quite uninspired.
Something along the lines of pic related or IRON AND THE SOUL by Henry Rollins and MINDFUL: Against the Ordinary Language: The Language of the Body — Kathy Acker.

Already part of the library. But I need more that somehow hits closer to actual physical work. I've read some martial arts stuff. Close but no cigar. That's all just getting fit for the sake of some sport.
I need something about getting fit for the sake of getting fit.

The rise and fall of the third reich is completely objective, it makes no effort to glorify or hide actions. Mein kampf Is the story of a homeless person who conquered all of europe, and one of the most influential books of the 20th century. The way of men has the right idea, but its pretty fucking gay desu.
